7 Minutes in Heaven

Hi ya! My names Samantha Moon and I'm a sophomore at Elkson High, a very small school. I'm pretty quiet and have just a few close friends so when I was invited to a popular boys party who've I've had a crush on since kindergarten, I was not passing on that opportunity! It was a normal Friday when I opened my locker to find a note.

I pulled on a ripped pair of jeans a plain black shirt and threw on a pair of converse before jogging down the stairs to say goodbye to my parents before going to see a "movie". Being a good kid had its perks! I drove to Brandon's house where cars lined the driveway. I really shouldn't be doing this I thought to myself. But hey I should live a little! Making up the courage I hopped out of the truck and headed towards the front door.I rang the door bell and Brandon opened it looking as good as ever. He had on a white shirt and basketball shorts. Come on in." He winked. I hoped I wasn't drooling as I walked into the house. There were people everywhere and drinks were being passed around. The party went on for awhile but eventually people began to leave until there was about 12-15 of us left.

One bubbly blonde jumped up clapping her hands together in excitement "guys I have a fun idea let's play seven minutes in heaven!" I think everyone just went with it but I wasn't really paying attention. Next thing I know I'm being pushed into a closet with Brandon? He leaned in towards me and took a step back. "Well this is awkward sorry most girls throw themselves on me if they get the chance." He blushed. "Oh sorry I just wasn't expecting that." I looked down at my shoes. "It's ok we can just talk?" He laughed. I sighed inwardly.
We talked and talked then someone knocked on the door. "Alright you crazy kids times up!" Someone laughed. "Well looks like it's time to go." Brandon stood up and offered me his hand I reached up and took it.

Suddenly he pulled me closer and his lips met mine! His lips were soft just as I had imagined. When he pulled away I felt a little tingle on my lips. "Sorry I couldn't resist." He winked at me once again, that when I realized the door was open and everyone was staring at me. My face must have been as red as a tomato as I dashed out of there.

Later that night I received a text from an unknown number.

Hey this is Brandon, I just wanted to apologize for the kiss I didn't mean to embarrass you.

I thought about not replying but I couldn't resist.

It's just that it was my first kiss and it was in front of everyone..
