Starscream the Opal

Megatron woke up the next day very early. He usually did this to get most of his work done, but this time he wanted to Study his new Second In Comand Opal. He still couldn't believe Soundwave suggested for them to be mates! A seeker and a miner/gladiator/warlord? Yeah great combination Soundwave! He heard her door open and watched as she gracefully exited the room like a princess. He had to admit that in the sunshine she looked absolutely gorgeous. She walked down the hall towards him and he leaned against the wall trying not to get her attention but unfortunately for him he got her attention. "Good morning my lord." She said looking at him with her starry blue eyes, he couldn't help but feel lost in them. "I'll see you later." She said and began to walk away. "Wait a minute Opal." He said and she stopped and looked at him. "Yes my liege?" She asked making him feel strange but he brushed it off. "I was wondering if you'd like to come with me on a scouting mission. Just the two of us." He said and she smiled as she nodded. "It would be a pleasure." She said and went back into her room to prepare. Weird. Why isn't she coming to get energon? He thought and walked away to the rec center.

Opal followed Megatron through the uneven woods of Cybertron to see if they could salvage anything, just as he promised it was only the two of them there. She was about to take out her sword from her gem when she fell over not paying attention to where she was walking, she squealed and stumbled trying to get her footing but couldn't think straight and plummeted over a cliff side! Megatron heard her scream too late and could only watch as she smashed into the ground. Luckily her physical form wasn't damaged enough for her to retreat to her gem but how he saw it was that she was severely injured. He quickly climbed down and carefully picked her up. "Soundwave i need an emergency ground bridge." Megatron said into his com and a swirling vortex appeared in front of him. He walked through the ground bridge and into the medical bay. He layed Opal on the medical birth and watched as Knockout got to work on fixing her. "Be careful with my Pearl Knockout, i want her in one piece." Megatron said and Knockout nodded a little confused as to why he referred to her as his Pearl.

Opal awoke in the medical birth again. What happened? Last thing I remember i was trying to get rid of Megatron but i tripped over and...... "Are you alright Opal?" She looked to where the voice came from and was surprised to see Megatron. He wrapped his massive hand around hers as if to comfort himself. "I guess I'm ok. I'm breathing at least." She said and looked away from him. He smiled and opened his hand and she froze realizing which hand he was holding. "Opal would you care to explain why you have a gem infused into the back of your hand?" He asked and she knew she couldn't hide who she really was but kept silent in fear of being shattered. Megatron sighed and held her close to him, laying with him like this made her feel like not even the Diamonds could shatter her. She felt guilty for trying to kill him, she didn't see a tyrant. She saw the one man that made her feel safe. So she did the one thing she hadn't done but had wanted to do since she got on this ship. She told Megatron the truth.

Yellow diamond watched as her Opal betrayed them. Blue Diamond looked at the image and sighed. "She is only young Yellow. Did you really think she'd be a cold blooded killer? Haven't you learned from Rose Quartz?" She asked and walked out of the room with her Pearl right behind her. Yellow diamond turned off the screen and sat on her throne. She couldn't understand it, why would her most prized gem betray her like this? Was she in love with the tyrant? She could never make it work, she was a gem and he a Cybertronian. "It's disgusting." She said and her Pearl looked up at her. "What's disgusting my Diamond?" "This 'love' Opal has for the tyrant! She must be eliminated. I know it's a waist of a good gem but she's been tainted. Soon she may even be lying in his bed and completely under his power! She must be eliminated before he figures out how to use her against us." Yellow Diamond said and the Pearl nodded. "As you wish my Diamond."
