The boy's eyes went wide, shock on their faces. “Why mother?! Why?!” yelled one of the boys. “I-I’m sorry kids!” cried the mother. “We had no choice! There's nothing left; we just hoped that doing this could give you a better chance at life,” wept the mother. “Kids, I know this is hard to take in, but please understand! Your mother and I had no choice, and as much as we want to keep you, we can't! We can't provide you with anything anymore,” the father spoke. The eldest boy, who understood all that was implied, sighed heavily before speaking. “We understand, mother, father. But what about you? Selling us off will give you money, but what about after that?! Will you forget about us? What about all we've been through together as a family? Tell me! Tell us! What will happen to us?! Our happy family!... Or used to be,” the eldest questioned, eyes full of tears.

The parents looked at each other, dripping with guilt from the eldest’s harsh words. “Nothing will happen between us, hopefully, and we promise to keep in contact,” the father said. There was no reply, only silence. “It's late, go to bed. Tomorrow is a big day,” the father said, disrupting the silence. As the five children stood and headed to their shared room, no words or glances were spared towards their parents.

In their room, the children sat on their respective beds, not a word spoken.

“So; I guess this is our last night here,” the eldest spoke.

“It sure is Yoongi,” the second oldest spoke.

“I'm going to miss this place Hoseok,” replied Yoongi.

The youngest sat quietly on his bed, contemplating on talking or not. However, before he could decide, his brother, one of the twins, spoke up.

“We had so many memories here together,” the younger twin said.

“We did Taehyung, and we spent them together,” the elder twin said.

Taehyung nodded his head, “I'm going to miss this Jimin. All the memories and stuff.”

The youngest child looks between his brothers, before speaking his mind.

He took a long breath.

“What if we don't stay together. Are mother and father splitting us up?”
