It all started when I got up this morning. I threw on a white sweater and tucked it into a maroon skirt with some tights underneath. I decided to dress up today and look cute because I was planning to put my crush Brendan a love letter in his locker today. My heart was beating very fast. I walked in the school then went down the hall. There he was the most popular boy in school. He didn't seem like a nerd at all.
He was the complete opposite of me I am so not popular . He had beautiful brown hair with golden tips,blue eyes, and some stone hard abs. While he was distracted by his friends talking about all the hot girls in school I ran and slid the envelope containing my letter in his locker. I ran fast. Faster than I ever had ran before. I went to class . 4th period is when we go to lunch. As soon as I walk in the lunch room it was silent . Which was weird . My two friends ran up to me the girl was Bella she had gorgeous blonde hair and brown eyes. The boy is named Tyler he has brown hair and green eyes. Bella grabbed me by the hand and took me to our lunch table. "Woah what is going on?" I said nervously. "Did you write a letter to Brendan ",she spoke as if something bad was going to happen. "How did you know?" I whispered quietly. " you know I like you beautiful, why would you want Branden when you can have me",Tyler said being cocky. I rolled my eyes . If you couldn't tell Tyler has had a crush on me for a while now , ever since I gave him a cookie in second grade.
As soon as i look up Branden was walking to my table. I slouched down in the seat. "Who here is Alyssa?" Branden asked. I slowly raise my hand up until he saw me. He grinned and handed me the letter back. Everyone stared as I opened up the letter. Written in black ink across my paper was "in your dreams nerd", someone snatched the letter before I put it back in the envelope. It was one of Brandens best friends Alex. He began to read the letter out loud." Dear Branden , I know you dont know me ,but I know you. I have always had a crush on you since I saw you " then Alex said ,"guess what Branden wrote? He said in your dreams", Alex said . Everyone in the cafeteria started laughing at me. I ran out crying. Bella and Tyler followed me.
