Chapter 6

Yoongi patted my shoulder and smiled at me softly before i watched him quietly walk in front of me and sit down next to Jimin and Namjoon.
I cleared my throat as I awkwardly took a seat next to Jin and everything went quiet.
Namjoon spoke up while smiling.
"You're awake! Did you sleep well?" He asked while everyone one else turned to me anticipating my answer.
"Uh yeah. It was really nice thank you." I said while putting my head down slightly and lightly played with my hair.
I heard Yoongi scoff slightly at my actions and looked up and saw him smirking while shaking his head.
"That's a relief to hear!" I hear Jimin speak up and smile brightly. His eyes getting small in the process.
Everyone else nods or gums in agreement. How can these people be so perfect? I swear if I keep thinking like this... I shouldn't be thinking like this! These people freaking kidnapped me!
I sighed quietly while Jin continued talking.
"So! I'm sure you're more than confused about everything." He stared while Jungkook continued for him.
"The kidnapping... the secrets..."
"Which we greatly apologize for!" Taehyung interrupts him. I jump slightly as I realize him sitting on the opposite side of me.When did he get here? Woah... he looks so pale... like kinda sick? I hope he's okay. I shake my head of the thoughts and come back to the conversation at hand.
Everyone hurriedly agrees while looking guilty.
"Anyways," Namjoon continues,
"Do you believe in the supernatural?" He asks me.... didn't Jin ask me the same thing??
"Does this have to do with vampires?"
I ask remembering Jin asking me the same thing.
Everyone gets quiet .
"How did you...--" Taehyung starts before Jin clears up their confusion with a calming voice.
"I asked her the same thing! And we were talking a bit about vampires and mates and stuff last night, but I didn't reveal anything or get too deep into it so no need to freak out." He says while everyone lets out a breath and gets donee comfortable. "Quite an observant doll we have here don't we?" He says winking at me and smiling. I feel the blush crawl up my cheeks and clear my throat awkwardly while everyone just agrees. I swear this is the most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me.
"So you know how the vampire and mate thing works then right?" Jungkook speaks up while looking at me.
I nod.
"Yeah I actually took a class of mythology and stuff in high school." I say as I adjust more comfortably in my chair, these are reeaaallly nice chairs.
They stare at me in aw and smile .
Why are they always smiling at me too like bro.
"So... let's say by chance we're vampires. And--"
Namjoon quickly gets cut off by Yoongi.
"Look. We," he says motioning to all of them before continuing, "are all vampires. And you are our mate. There done. I swear all of you have to drag things out." He says leaning back while closing his eyes slightly. I look at all of them. A few of them are in shock that Yoongi just spit it out like nothing before they all turn to me waiting for a reaction.
His words process through my head.
Vampires... them. Mate... me... wait. "Me... Mate... Vampires....oh." I mumble before realization smacks me In the face like a brick.
"Well that's the big thing ! Well we were trying to slowly bring it down but thanks to mister grumpy pants over here that didn't happen." Jhope speaks up and scratches the back of his head trying to lighten the mood.
"Wait. But they don't exist." I say speaking up slowly being convinced this is some prank.
"You really think we would lie about stuff like that?" Jin says as he looks over at me,
" I... um." I don't have words are they serious? Vampires, I never thought of if they were real. And ME these heavenly beings' mate?? It's not possibly true. Is it?? My head was getting slightly dizzy.
I clear my throat before I speak up.
"I think I need some water" I mumble about to stand up when I was immediately startled by them all at once.
"I'll get it for you!" All of them stand up except for Yoongi who -- wait where did he go?
"Here you go." I jump as I watch Yoongi put down a glass of water in front of me before calmly walking over to his seat.
"God damn Yoongi. I was trying to help." Namjoon mumbled while the rest of the boys mumbled similar complaints before sitting down. I look over and Yoongi is smirking victoriously. I shake my head at them. They all seem like they have a hate love thing going on.
I hurriedly take a gulp or two of water before carefully putting the glass down.
"So.... you guys are actually vampires? And I'm actually your mate??" I say trying to keep my voice steady.
"Yes to both of them." Jin says.
"That's also partly why we had to "kidnap" you." Jungkook speaks up. "Cuz you probably wouldn't have believed us otherwise." Jimin says pouting slightly.
"We are still really sorry about that." Taehyung deep voice says besides me. When I first heard him talk he seemed so happy and lively. But now he seems kinda just dead.
"Are you okay?" I speak up without thinking. He looks up at me slightly shocked. And looked down.
"Being around your mate for the first time after 379 years can have different effects on the vampires. But so far the only one who has had a "negative" effect is taehyung because he is more sensitive and needs the blood sooner than us." Jin calmly explained while everyone looked at Taehyung sadly.
"So he needs blood from the mate to get back to his spunky self." Jungkook says before Jhope interrupted him. "But you can wait as long as you want! There is no pressure . We will all respect you."
I feel a pull at my heart as I look at Tae. He looks so miserable. I don't know why my heart is feeling anything for these guys. Maybe I really am a mate. I can't believe I'm doing this. If I die at least my last thoughts will be of these 7 gorgeous faces.
"I'll do it." I speak up.
They all look at me surprise crazily evident on their faces.
"You sure?" Yoongi asks.
"You really don't have to." Jimin continues.
"Yeah." I say feeling the shyness go away.
If he needs help and I'm the only "help" then I'll help him.
"Id feel bad if I didn't anyways."
I say looking at Taehyung who's eyes were huge from disbelief.
"Wow... I didn't know the effects of being together with the mate is this strong."
Jungkook mumbles while looking at me and smiling with a cute bunny smile.
"I guess we really did get lucky." Jimin says while everyone agrees.
I blush slightly and tuck my hair behind my ear. I swear I don't know why I'm blushing this much.
"Well! We gotta go shopping for some more food anyways since we have a human in our house. So Taehyung can stay here and we'll be back!" Jhope speaks up happily. While everyone smiles and stands up. While Yoongi just mumbles complaints and lazily rolls out of his chair.
"We'll see yo later. And we promise we aren't bad you'll see!" Jin says while they all disappear in a flash besides Taehyung who is still sitting down.
"I'm surprised you didn't scream when you found out." I heard a slightly weak voice call out. I look at Taehyung and smile. "I lowkey am surprised too. This is not usually how I handle crazy situations." I say laughing softly.
"I feel better just talking with you and seeing you smile. That's one of the most prettiest smile I've ever seen." He says mumbling while smiling and talking away about random stuff.
"You really don't have to do this you know." Taehyung suddenly speaks up.
"I rather you be more comfortable than me." He said looking at me intensely.
I took a chance and looked at his strong features and how they clashed perfectly with his soft ones. His eyes... woah. His eyes were almost blood red and glowing slightly. His skin was pale and he had bags underneath his eyes. I can't let him just stay like this. Thanks to my overprotective mom side I can't.
"I do. I can't just let you be like this. I know it sounds strange and I'm still trying to process my feelings in all of this. Towards you guys. So just don't argue and do what you need to." I say while looking at him seriously.
What am I doing with my life.
".... you sure..?" He asks looking at me while slowly licking his lips. His eyes falling down to my neck every few seconds.
I take a deep breath. "Positive." I say and smile sweetly.
Suddenly I'm embraced by two manly arms and the slight hint of cologne. It smelled amazing.
"Thank you so much...." I heard him mumble. Before a drop of water fell on my shoulder . Is he crying?
"I'm so blessed. To have gotten this lucky." He said while moving my hair slightly taking a deep breath in the crook of my neck, before he let out a shaky breath.
"You sure?" He asks again.
I roll my eyes slightly and smile, "Yeah just get it over with." I say closing my eyes expecting immediate pain but instead I felt something soft against my neck.
He was kissing my neck.
I shivered slightly as he goes up a little bit. Licking my skin.
I shudder and instinctively hold him tighter, before I felt teeth graze against my skin. I gulp slightly and feel him smile against me.
"This may hurt a bit at first. So I'm saying sorry in advance." He said, his voice deadly low and close to my ear. I need to stop getting worked up over this.
I just nod for him to go. As I hold my breath.
I feel two sharp pains on my neck, while my blood is slowly drained .
The pain subsides the moment it came and I hear him humming slightly. He brings his right hand up to my neck and his left hand Down to my lower back.
I shakily release the breath I've been holding.
It actually feels really good.He groaned against my skin and sucked my neck more hungrily.

"You taste... amazing... like nothing Ive ever had.." He mumbled against my skin.

I started to get a little dizzy and lean my head against his shoulder feeling myself get weaker.
I soon feel the fangs leave my neck while he slowly licked the wound.
He pulled away, smiling brightly into my face. His old self back and more evident than ever.
"I....I...thanks. Thank you. Im sorry, I think I took a bit much." He says sorry repeatedly while giving a kiss to my temple. I slowly drift off.
I feel myself being lifted up as darkness takes over me.
And this is when my life changed forever.
