Sorry this is really late and really short. I am trying to get back into writing this. Thank you for reading these stories, I hope they are good.
"Happy Birthday," Wanda heard her parents sing, they were standing at the door way beaming at her and Pietro. The room was small, Pietro and Wanda each had a single bed and a few posters. A small present rested at the bottom of each of their beds from the other twin. They were wrapped in a blue paper with a string tied around the middle so that the twins could not peak. Wanda squealed with excitement as she jumped over into Pietro's bed.
"Happy Birthday dear Wanda and Pietro," their parents sang rushing the last part to fit with the tune. They carried a small home made cake and two parcels with name labels. Pietro took Wanda's hand before they both blew out the candle setting the cake down on bed stand. Pietro was given his present first he opened it to reveal a catapult with a new handle. A look that can only be described as pure evil appeared on his face. He had lost his last one whilst running away from the other boys, he was quick enough to avoid them but not to avoid loosing his best weapon. His father smirked " Just don't brake my plant pots, ehhh boy,".
"No promises," Pietro replied.
Wanda smiled up at her mother, who placed her package in Wanda's lap. " Here you go sweetie,". Wanda squeaked gently opening the package. Inside was a beautiful necklace, it had a metal string and a black, decorated bead at the bottom. Her mother had entwined a red ribbon in the chain. Wanda looked up at her parents a large smile on her face, it was perfect. Pietro gently secured the necklace around Wanda's neck as she sat cross legged in front of him. They held hands singing Happy Birthday together. They exchanged their presents to each other then got changed out of their pyjamas. The living room was set up for a small party, home made bunting hanging from the ceiling and a white table cloth covering the battered table. The twins looked around, their apartment had never looked quite so splendid. The book shelf held a radio which was playing quiet music allowing the twins to dance together. They laughed, running around the living room. The cake was taken from the bedroom to the kitchen where it was cut in half for the twins. They each ate their slice of cake from a plate on a white cloth, laughing when Wanda got crumbs on her face. Their tea was served later and they played a game of football in the street outside their home. As the day went on the outside world was forgotten. The twins were rulers of their domain. All the Maximoffs gathered around the table playing a game of snap. The cards were yellowed but it was Pietro's favourite game so of course he won despite being caught cheating twice. The twins were ten years old, it was to be the last happy birthday they would have. If only they had known but maybe that would have taken the joy out of the day. The day ended well into the night with the parents sending the twins to bed and one last song of 'Happy Birthday'.

أدب الهواةMy opinion of what Wanda and Pietro were like as children growing up together. I don't own these characters and this is my first story. It shows their life in school and at home.
