Chapter 6 An invitation

3rd person POV

“OWWW… OUCH… IT HURTS…” the voices in the sack complains.

“Hey are they alright North?” Tooth asks as she looks at the sack.

“Yeah, they’re fine.” North responds.

The sack reveals Jack, ______, Jaime and Sophie.

“Wow…” ______ said with amazement while looking around. She is on a place full of toys and everything nice.

“What’s that for North?” Jack angrily said.

“Don’t you like it?” he asks.

“If it’s just me it will be fine, but what if _____ and the kids got hurt.” Jack said.

“Calm down you’re all fine, right? And besides―” he was cut off when the kids hug him.

“Santa!” the kids exclaim.

“S-Santa?” _____ said with questioning tone while looking at North. North’s eyes are wide open and he is agape while looking at her.

“A-Alice?” North stutters.

“Alice? She’s not Alice. She is ______. The girl I’m talking ab―” Jack stops and covers his mouth.

“What do you mean talking…” she said.

“He always tells stories about you.” Tooth said. _______ just give a questioning look.

“I’m tooth. May I see you’re teeth?” she asks but already looking at her mouth.

“AHHHH, WAYT…”

“Oh you have pearly white teeth, but Jack has icy white teeth.” Tooth said.

“T-thank you then.” _______ said and step back and her feet hit on something.

“OH I’m sorry.” She said as she helps one of the marching eggs to stand.

“You should look on your surroundings.” she looks up to see the owner of the voice and found a huge bunny in front of her.

“I’m sorry; I think you should make a lane for your… marching eggs. You know… for them to not get hurt.” She said. Bunnymund raise an eyebrow.

“So you’re Mr. Easter―”

“Kangaroo!” Jack finishes her sentence.

“Shut up kid why you don’t shut yourself on the closet.” bunnymund said.

“Hey you’re getting angry again.” Jack said.

“Because you’re so stubborn and always make troubles to us.” The easter bunny said.

“Are you going bring up the past again?” Jack questions, and the two looking intensely to each other.

“It’s your fault on that easter day!” Bunnymund said.

“Do you mean the ‘68 incident? Where there was a blizzard on the day of Easter?” _____ interrupt their fight.

“How did you know that?” Jack asks.

“On books, I guess.” She answers. Someone pulls her jacket and she turns around and found a yellow guy behind her.

“Uhm hello there Mr…” she stares at him for awhile like having a staring game then she spokes.

“Hello Mr. Sandy. Nice to meet you” she said and smiles at the yellow guardian. He smiles back at her.

“Y-you understand him by just staring at him?” Jack asks she nods.

“Whoah, you really are something?” he commented.

“What do you mean?” she asks.

“Hey North, why are you staring at her like that? Aren’t you the one who must greet her cheerfully?” Tooth said as she flies near him. He is still staring at the young girl.

______ looks at their direction the others does too. She smiles and walks to him.

“Well after all, I think my imagination doesn’t really give me a hard time.” she said and smiles.

“Nice to meet you Santa or I should call you North as your friends address you.” She added.

“W-well nice to meet you too _____” North said and offers a hand shake which she accepts.

“My mother believes in you too. Even before she dies.” She said.

“R-really?! What is the name of your mother?” he asks.

“Allyson” she said.

“Oh I see” he said.

“May I ask why we are sent here?” she asks.

“We heard what happen to you awhile ago. So we decided to bring you here.” Bunnymund interrupt.

“Yeah, Pitch Black came back.” Jaime said worried.

“What should we do now?” Sophie said.

Everybody thinks deeply. _____ look up to the sky and notice that the moon shines differently and drags her self to ray of the moon. She was staring at the moon when suddenly someone taps her shoulder. She startled and looks back and found Jack holding her shoulder.

“A-ah I’m sorry it was just…” you said unable to explain, his hand back down to his side.

“Guys, the man in the moon wants to talk to us.” He said and everyone gathers around. You step back, Sophie and Jaime come to your back and peeking to your sides. She can’t take her eyes to the moon as the guardians talk to Manny.

“Pitch Black comes back.” Tooth said looking up. The moon just shines and everyone is trying to understand what does Manny wants to say.

“Someone’s coming too.” North verbalized what Manny wants to say.

“What do you mean?” Tooth said.

“The past connects the present and so the present to the future.” ____ said while looking at the moon that comes back to its normal brightness.

“Y-you understand what Manny says.” Jack said stunned.

“I-Is it b-bad?” she asks.

“N-no it’s alright. But what does Manny really want to imply.” Bunnymund said. Sandy makes some figures above his head using his sand and they decode it. Sophie yawns and sleeps on _____’s lap.

“Uhm… excuse me…” she interrupt. “I think we need to go home. Our parents might looking for us now.” She added as she carries Sophie.

“You’re right, Jack come with them and make sure they’re safe.” North commanded and the 4 went to the portal connecting to their home. They are safely went home and their parents didn’t even notice their absence for a while.
