Y/N pov
The group and I make it to the woods, I shake my head and ask, "What are we doing here?"
The stranger turns around and smirks.
"Well I'm pretty sure it would be weird to see a bunch of teenagers summoning horses in a "normal" suburban neighborhood now wouldn't it?"
He then turns back around and takes out a metal object.
"Wait a minute. Horses? Why the heck are we riding horses? Like, I have a freaking car can't we just take that?" Alex questions, crossing her arms with a raised brow.
He turns to face us once again and answers her question.
"Well, sweetheart. These aren't just some any regular horses."
Alex opens her mouth to probably protest against him calling her sweetheart, until a loud ringing sound interrupts her. Alex and I cover our ears to block out the noise and squeeze our eyes shut.
When we open our eyes the boys, excluding the stranger, give us weird looks.
"Why did you guys just look like someone just blew a really loud whistle in your ears?" Laurence ask, cocking his head a little to the side in a confused manner.
Alex clenches her first and yells back to him, "Maybe because someone did you big oblivious doofus!"
She then stomps over to the stranger. She grabs a fist full of his shirt and screams in his face.
"And you, Mr. Stranger! Why the hell did you do that? Why did our friends look at us like we're crazy?" Alex yells through her gritted teeth.
"Woah okay, sweetheart. First things first. My name is Elijah, not 'Mr. Stranger'. Second of all the I was calling down some pegasi . Third, your friends can't hear the sound because they don't have any god DNA in them. Now can you please let go of my shirt. I would hate for it to get all wrinkly." He finishes with a pout from the thought of a wrinkled shirt.
Alex huffs and let's go of his shirt. She shoots him a glare and spits her next words with venom.
"Don't call me-" I interrupt her statement to ask something more important.
"Did you say.... pegasi?"
Eli turns to face me. He winks with a bright smile.
"Yes. Pegasi."
"Oh! Like you mean those flying horsey thingys?" Garroth chirps like a little kid.
Eli chuckles and shakes his head at his childish remark.
He then responds with a small smile, "Yes. Those flying horsey thingys."
