Tough Teddy

Bonnie sat alone, bored. He was messing around with his guitar. Perhaps trying to write a song. Only to find the notes don't mesh well. He eventually put down his guitar and let out a sigh.

Freddy went over to Bonnie. "Have you been practicing routines like I asked, Bonnie?" Freddy asked, a stern tone to his voice. "Not yet, Boss.." the shy little bunny replied, afraid the taller brown bear might be mad at him. But Freddy sensed a concern in Bonnie's voice. "Is something wrong? Not like it matters or anything.." Freddy mumbled, nervously messing with his bowtie. "I guess I've been lonely lately.." He let out a sigh, his words a gentle whisper.

Freddy suddenly didn't feel tense. He sat down beside Bonnie. Bonnie did something risky. He grabbed Freddy's paw lightly. Bonnie and Freddy locked eyes for a minute. Freddy almost wanted to pull away his paw but instead he gently kissed Bonnie. Bonnie kissed him back. They held paws as they kissed in the dim lights of the stage. With no one to interrupt. One they separated the kiss, Freddy made a promise to Bonnie. "I promise to be your Teddy if you promise to be my cinnnaboi." Bonnie nodded. "I promise." The lavender bun confirmed. They kissed once more and that's where it all began.
