"She isn't strong enough."
"Then how can we fix it?"
"My Diamond, I don't believe there is a way to fix the gem mixture, we've tried everything we've can."
The bright beaming light in my eyes was almost unbearable to stare at, it hurt. That was before the gem had moved it out of my eyes. I blinked a few times to collect my thoughts, the Peridot must have taken me through more tests. How odd, it wasn't test day.
"My Diamond, this gem clearly has no use. She doesn't meet any of our standards, and I find it quite a waste of time."
"No.." Spoke the Diamond, her turning her head towards me. I felt her eyes upon me, which sent a shiver up my back. The tall diamond examined me, I looked at her gem. Blue Diamond. She must've been the leader of this place. I wasn't quite understanding on everything like other gems. Other gems came, knew what to do and got to work. I took time, patience, I was hard to work with.
"We will send her to Earth to preform some studies. I will not let a gem like this go to waste." She said, looking at the Perdiot. "Find her something to study, and send her on her way." She spoke softly, before exiting the room.
The Peridot groaned, sighing as they looked at me. "Fine, we'll send you on a mission to study Earth's life, find something interesting about it and report back to us." They mumbled, having their screen and was typing. I stood up from the table I was laying on. I rubbed my shoulder and looked at the Peridot. "Let's get you out of here." It groaned, as it walked out. From what I thought, I followed.
I soon then arrived on Earth, I stood on grass and knelt down. The soft breeze of the wind was a bit nerve wrecking, not understanding. I was made not too long ago, and I'm already put out on Earth. Homeworld must trust me. "What...is all this?" I asked to myself, picking up a flower and stared at it. The colors of it was quite outstanding to the rest of the other colors around it. It was odd how these organisms had looked different by color, but were the same thing.I put the flower down, and began walking. I held a screen to report my findings on, and to record any sort of unusual activity on Earth. Though, I was noted I'd be here for awhile, which was great.
I walked through a field of weird human fruit called strawberries, I could seem them as far as my eyes could let me see. I read about where I was as I strolled through. Apparently gems battled here thousands of years ago, and now strawberries took place on the field. "How odd of Earth's organisms to do such a thing." I mumbled to myself, and began to record about it.
I continued walking, glancing around and studying a bit as it began to get darker. I noticed this, and paused. "Why is it getting darker? Is it just me?" I asked quietly before I heard a snicker. I turned my head, not seeing anybody. I squinted my eyes before I turned around to see somebody in front of me.She grinned, and had a huge strawberry in her hand, taking a bite out of it. "You're new, haven't seen a new face 'round here in awhile." She spoke, grinning brightly towards me. I slightly backed away. "W-Who are you?" I asked, a bit nervously as I tried staying a safe distance towards her. "Me? Might as well not tell you if you're going to run away from me." She said, her arms crossing as she stared at me.
"What? I-I'm not running away from you!" I exclaimed but she just laughed as she took another bite from her strawberry. "My names Amethyst, but call me Ame." She said after swallowing a bite of the strawberry that was in her mouth. "And who might you be?" She asks, grinning brightly.
I just stared at the Amethyst, a bit uneasy before I shook my head. "..I-I'm Celestine, I'm from Homeworld and was sent to study life on Earth." I spoke, a bit proudly as Ame had looked at me, and just laughed. "You're a joke." She snorted out, grinning as she laughed.
