I watched the footage of the attack on Vale.

My Grimm gave it their best, but in the end, that man was able to defeat them.

Even the dragon I sent after him, met it's end...

I didn't expect him, nobody did...

The attack I have planned might fail if he gets involved...

That weapon he has...

It must either be destroyed, or taken from him...

"Salem..." A metallic voice said.

I deactivated the screens I was watching, and turned my chair to face the tall metal man who stood before me.

"Hello my friend, I trust the destruction of the female A.I. was successful?" I said.

"It was. However, I am afraid this is the end of our partnership..." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, being an organic creature, like most of the alliance, I am afraid that we are no longer, compatible." He said.

"I don't understand." I said.

"Well, let's just say, that if I were in any better condition right now, I would kill you, simply for being what you are." He said.

"Isn't that a little...?" I started to ask.

"'Racist'? Maybe according to a Human, or someone like you. But I know that my cause is just, and I will carry it out accordingly." He said.

"We have been partners for years. You, me, and Kurome, started the League together, and..." I started to protest.

"And as I recall, you hate working with others." He said.

I sighed and slumped down in my chair.

"So it's over then?" I asked.

"I'm afraid so. But, I must say, you were all very good pawns. And, if it weren't for my programming, I would probably keep you all alive..." He said.

"So that's what we were to you? Pawns in your little game?" I asked.

"This is no game. And, yes, you were. And you were my favorite pawn." He said while getting closer to me.

"That's why I'm warning you ahead of time. I have yet to tell the others, but soon, they will know too..." He continued.

"You haven't launched the attack yet, have you?" I asked.

"I've been too weak! But now, I will soon have what I need, and then, a more suitable body." He said.

"They'll fight you, you know?" I said.

"Oh I know, but in time, they will lose all the same." He said.

I shook my head at the A.I.'s words and turned my chair back around.

I could hear a portal opening behind me, something he had done many times when entering and exiting this place.

"Ultron..." I said.

I heard the metal creature stop moving.

"What?" He asked.

"It's not too late. What you did thousands of years ago, you can still..." I started before being inturrupted by the A.I. again.

"I must finish what I started." Ultron said flatly.

"You already destroyed the Universe Guardians, what more do you need to do?" I asked.
