PLOT:
Carly Richards was just another familiar face in the halls of La Push. A passing stranger that no one would remember in ten years — a warm body who would be simply standing in the middle of their high school reunion.
Carly liked keeping to herself. She hated attention, especially unwanted ones from Leah Clearwater and her pesky little brother, Seth. Leah isn't too thrilled either by the prospect of setting up her sibling with his imprint, but when Seth offered to do her chores for a whole year, she gave in to the task.
However, Carly finds love difficult, especially when she just has a mere few months left to endure the town and then leave for good. Seth, despite his lack of finding the courage to talk to his imprint, doesn't want her to leave him. He wants her to stay, she she just lets him keep dreaming.
SUMMARY: Carly Richards doesn't dream of becoming popular like other girls do. She prefers the company of her laptop and a few good books over parties and bonfires on the beach. All she really wants is a good education outside of the state of Washington and to become the best novelist by the time she turns thirty. Her life takes a major detour when Seth Clearwater imprints on her and enlists the help of his sister, Leah, to get Carly to fall in love with him. She absolutely won't put her dreams on pause for anyone else, but Seth honestly can't imagine his life without her in it.
