Which Road Shall Be Taken?

Which road shall be taken,

For which I do not know.

One I found a year ago,

Or one I have always known?

Shall I wonder down the path that I know the best,

Or should I put the past behind me,

Putting it to a test.

I took the new path,

Leaving my old path behind.

Which unfortunately I found my way out,

With the decision Back in my mind.

Once again,

which path shall I take.

Now i wander down that road that I've already been,

The place I've known since I first met my own kin.

But it Looks like I can't,

they won't let me in.

The path has started to end.

the path is reserved,

For the best of the best.

But people like me,

Are amongst the rest.

This reason being,

I took that test.

Going down the newer road,

I should've known it wasn't the best.

The older path didn't like it,

Therefore, I was restrained.

I never knew what the past could offer,

Until I could no longer go that way.

The path was blocked.

It was all my own fault.

It became a dead end road,

Oh, how I should've known.

Stick with what you know,

So you won't have to let go.
