It’s been two years now since I last saw you at the park with another guy. Two long years, I thought it was enough for me to finally move on from you. My brain tells me every day that I have moved on ~well it’s been the one my brain keep insisting~ but my heart tells me otherwise. Two long years that I worked myself to be the best that I can be ~so that someday I can walk back into your life and the next thing I’m gonna work hard for is your family’s approval of ‘our’ love if there is still one~ for one day I would show up myself to your family and claim that I can be the right person for you I can be any girls dream even if I’m not a man.

I was in deep pain the last time I saw you in the park, but when my friend Min told me that the one you’re with was actually your cousin back from the states, it made me have the slightest tint of hope to think that I can still win you back. I keep myself updated on how your love life is ~not that I’m beginning to be a stalker, well, I kinda am~ but yeah, I just want to know if you still kept your promise that I’ll be the one whom you want to spend your whole life with because I know to myself that I kept my part of the promise this whole time.
Flashback..
We we’re lying on my bed, cuddling and teasing each other at the same time. We got tired from all the tickling and bickering ~at last! I was almost out of air with you tickling my oh so sensitive spots~, you took my arm and made it as a pillow as you squeezed your small-framed body closer to me, I happily welcomed you and hugged you from the waist. We fell into silence for a while, a question suddenly popped to my head while I’m staring at the ceiling. “hey princess? Will there be a time where you’ll get tired of me and find someone else to be your servant and replace me?” you fixed yourself to a position where you can look at me properly. You gently pulled my face towards you and said “stupid. Why are you asking me that question?” I think it caught you off guard. You moved yourself closer to me until there’s only an inch space between us. Our noses touching and I can feel the warm air coming from your parted lips. Now it caught me off guard, but I just stayed still as I heard you speak again “I can’t see myself with another person other than you Am, you’re the last person I’ll ever love and I want to spend my whole life with you, till our hair is gray and share our last breath, I will only love you Amber”. I was about to say something again but when you can’t stand all the questioning, I was taken aback as you closed the gap and I feel your soft lips against mine. All my worries disappeared as your kiss sealed a promise that made me believe not to doubt a thing you’ve said.
