Chapter 1

It all started on a Sunday morning when my both of my legs started to hurt told my mum but she said " it is just the way you slept last night" . All through the day I could not move one of my legs at all , I was stuck In my bed the whole day . The next morning my mum gave me some pain killers before school . I had p.e last lesson and I could still couldn't right leg but I did not have a letter so I had to do p.e anyway . I was really struggling could not do rounder or cross country but the teacher still did not pull me out .

By the time I got home my whole leg went num , so my mum took me to the hospital , my mum thought it was only a broken leg but it was both of my legs and I haven't fallen over or done anything to think that I broke my legs. We got. Called to the doctors room the doctor is doctor james, eh check my legs he said " we'll it is not broken , we will need take her for a cat scan " I started to panic amuse I had never had a scan before I did not no what is going to happen. So we went in to the scan and it was like a polo a small hoop with a hole in the middle it wasn't that bad.

So we came out ,about 15 minuets later doctor James came to take us to his room . When we got there're said "we'll Lucy has a really rare concision that has know name . Basically it is a infection in Your legs " " now because it is in both legs we will need to keep you in hospital for a night , I ams so sorry to say it but you will be in a wheelchair for the rest of your life" .

The next morning Lucy was in hospital , then the doctors came with a wheelchair and said you have one more scan to see if it has spread so they went to the cat scan room. She got back and the infection had not spread , doctor James said " you will need to come In once a month for check ups " I said " ok" .

She had to stay off school for a week but when she had to come to school she was ready to go. When she go in to school. New boy I. Her class started he was in a wheelchair as we'll so Lucy went over to him in her wheelchair and said "hi what is your name" he said back"Tom" " I see that your in a wheelchair as we'll well my condition has no name but it is a infection I both of my legs what is yours" Lucy said " your super hot ,oh sorry I have the same condition as you have"

" so do you want to go to the cinima on Sunday " Tom said " yer sure " .
