Chapter 6

Reece's POV

"Do you boys wanna come in?" Roxy asked as they all got out.

"Uh yeah alright" I turn the ignition off and stepped out of the car.

Andreah led us to the front door and upon entering her house her mom came to greet us.

"Hey girls how was school?" She asked them.

"Good, mom I'd like to introduce you to Craig and Reece" Andreah points to us smiling.

"Nice to meet you both" Her mom shakes both our hands.

"Likewise" I answer back.

"Ok mom were gonna be upstairs" Andreah tells her before she brings us upstairs.

We enter her room which is really nice. It's got pink and black walls, a flat screen plasma on the wall, an ensuite bathroom and a king size bed.

"Nice room" I compliment admiring it.

"Thanks, so umm what do you wanna do?" She asked us sitting on her bed.

"Let's all play 21 questions, we'll let Andreah and Reece go first" Roxy suggested.

We sat down opposite from each other and she started first.

"What is your favourite colour?" She asked looking slightly shy.

"Blue" I answer. "Favourite food?"

"Mmmm tacos" She smiled.

I smiled at that because most girls I hang with would of said salad or something.

She was about to ask the next question when her doorbell rang.

"I'll get it" Her sister got up and walked outside of the room.

A few seconds later she returned with a boy behind her. Who is this guy and why is he here?

"Hey Ev" Andreah stood up enveloped him into a hug.

"Why you being nice to me today?" He questions when she pulls away.

"I feel like I haven't seen you for a while" She says.

"It's only been two days" he replies back smirking then he turns his attention to me and Craig. "Sup" He gives us both a nod.

"Hey what's up" We both answer.

There was an awkward silence so I decided it's time we should leave.

"Where are you going?" Andreah asked as she saw me stand up.

"I uh have to be somewhere...but thanks for inviting us in" I stuttered awkwardly making my way to her door.

"Um ok I'll walk you down" She replied walking with us.

"Bye girls and guy" I waved before leaving. Craig was quickly writing something down on a piece of paper and I figured that player got some digits.

We got downstairs to her front door when she asked me "Do you wanna maybe hang out tomorrow night....just the-the two of us" She stuttered playing with the hem of her shirt.

"Yeah that sounds good, I can uh pick you up from here around 7?" I replied back admiring how cute she looks.

"Yes, sounds perfect thanks" She smiled and waved to us both as we walked towards my car.

"Dude she likes you" Craig says once he got in.

"Nah man she's just being friendly" I reply back as I drive.

"Trust me I can tell" He says proudly.

I ignored his comment and asked him about Roxy. He said he got her number and there gonna be hanging out tomorrow night too.

"Where you taking her?" I asked as I turned into his street.

"Like I'm gonna tell you, you might still my idea" he replied back.

I laughed and shook my head "No I won't idiot".

I pulled up in front of his house, stepping out of my car he waved and disappeared into his house.

As I was driving home I kept thinking about what Craig said earlier. 'Dude she likes you'.

I kept replaying his words in my head until I reached my house.

I parked my car in my driveway, and made my way inside my house.

"Hi sweetheart" My mom greeted when I walked in.

"Hey mom" I replied back walking towards the kitchen.

"Your girlfriend came by earlier" She said standing by the kitchen door.

"Oh yeah? What did she want?" I asked opening the refrigerator.

"She said she wanted to see you, and I told her your not home, that's all"

"I wonder why she didn't call, she has my number" I pondered.

"Honey I know you don't like me saying this but when are you going to be with someone who's more serious than Gloria, I mean she seems lovely but I don't want you wast-"

"Mom I know you've told me so many times, but it's not that easy, I haven't met anyone yet who I feel is worthy of loving, so no it's not Gloria, I don't love her mom" I say, my voice slightly increasing as I felt frustrated.

"Ok honey, I just don't want you to get hurt, I hope you find the right girl soon" She hugs me then walks outside.

I don't know when I will meet the right person but I do hope it'll be soon. I'm tired of fake relationships and playing with girls hearts. I'm ready for something deeper than that. Wait till Craig heard about this!
