Tom POV
Today was a Sunday, yesterday was a Saturday. It was very sunny outside, just like a Sunday. I woke up at 9 am today like usual. The first thing I did in the morning was get coffee from the Café. Nothing is better than some morning coffee to get you up and ready for the day.
On the way to the Café, I waved and chatted with some villagers. I bragged about how I caught a golden stag yesterday to them. Some villagers wanted me to catch one for them, but I didn't accept their request because I worked my butt off to catch it, so they need to quit being lazy and catch it themselves. >:)

When I entered the Café, I was greeted by Brewster and Dr. Shrunk. Brewster and I have this good friendship because I always help him out with customers. Dr. Shrunk  was just resting at the Café and happened to recognize me. So I sat next to Dr. Shrunk in those little seat things near the counter and said my order.
"I would have the usual please."
   "Coming right up."
Brewster has quick hands, or wings, so he made my coffee in a blink of an eye.
"Enjoy," he gave me my coffee.
"Thanks Brewster," I said, and I gulped down my coffee in one go.
He gave me a surprised look, different from his poker face when I left my seat.
   "You're leaving so soon?"
"Yeah, I got plans," I said, close to the the exit.
"Okay, have a nice day Tom," he nodded in a form of a goodbye.
"I'll probably come back at night, see ya."

After the morning coffee, I went to talk to Sparro, my best bro.
   "Yooooooooo~"
   "Whazzzzzuuuuuppp~"
"Bruh no, you were supposed to say 'yoooo'."
I couldn't believe my friend just turned me down, saying a different line than I did. He needs a lesson.
"Hey, you never said that we had to say 'yoooo'," he shrugged.
"Well, I'll teach you that I did!" I yelled, taking out my bug net. Once I took the net out, he knew the sign.
"Woah there bro, I was just playing," he said.
"I know, but I'm still doing it!"
He started running away and I followed him behind his heels. Of course not literally behind his heels.
"Come back here you little bird!" I screamed jokingly. Chasing him around the town with a bug net.
   "You'll never catch me!!"
I kept following him until I ran out of breath. Damn, he works out too much.
"Okay, you win!" I shouted. "I'm gonna get you next time!"
Sheesh, jocks can be annoying. It was fun but half time consuming though. So I turned the other direction to leave until-

bUmP!

Oww," I groaned, "Watch where you're going."
"I'm sorry.."
I got myself up again from the bump that made us both fall. That's when I realized it was Joe, the emo guy.
"Oh hey Joe," I waved hello. "Forget what I said earlier, I'm the one who needs to be aware of my surroundings."
"It's fine," he spoke with a slight shock on his face, probably from my quick, sudden apology. Anna told me all about him when I moved into Serenity, she told me to not be too rough with him. So I apologized quickly before things might go the wrong way.
He was picking up his flowers he was holding from before. Joe's always carrying flowers. That made me wonder what he has up his sleeve.
"What's with the flowers?" I asked. "Are they for someone?"
He blushed in embarrassment and turned his head away from my trolling smile.
"N-no," he denied,"they're for the town decor."
"Sure," I laughed. "We got plenty of flowers out here y'know."
Bet he was trying to lie, but Joe is a bad liar.
"Hey, you can trust me," I leaned down to help him pick up his flowers. "Tell me who it's for."
"I told you, it's not for anyone," he answered, a little annoyed.
"C'mon, I won't tell a soul."
The flowers were roses, so what else would these flowers be used for? It had to be romance.
"They are not for anyone," he repeated.
"Okay, fine," I gave up. "But seriously though, they must be for someone, for me maybe?~"
I did a lil' wink after the line I said. His reaction was a face that said: really? I mentally laughed. Obviously it was not for me.
It was kinda quiet after my weird question earlier as we were gathering all the roses Joe carried that fell. We both stood up from the ground when we finished. I gave back the roses and he mumbled a thanks. I was gonna wave goodbye, but he was still standing there like he had something he wanted to say.
"Actually...you can have them," he changed his mind.
"Wait, really? So it was for me?" I asked.
"W-what? No," he broke our eye contact when he denied.
"Sure it's not," I sarcastically replied. "Whatever, thanks anyways."
Joe nodded and began leaving. I ran up to him and side-hugged him before he left though.
"You never gave me flowers before so it's special to me," I whispered in his ear. "Thanks again."
"O-okay.." Joe stuttered in response. I spotted a light tint of blush on his cheeks, how interesting.
I let go of the little hug and smiled.
"In return, why don't you come to the Café at 6 pm today?" I offered. "I can make you a cup."
He took a while to process what was happening, but after a few seconds he nodded a yes.
"See you there!" I waved. We left and continued our daily lives.

On the way to my house to display my newly received roses, I encountered Lily.
"Hello Tom," she greeted me before she bit a peach.
"Hi Lily," I waved hello with my free hand not holding the roses.
She noticed the roses and stopped eating.
"Are those from someone? Or for someone?" she asked abruptly.
"From someone," I answered and took a quick sniff of it.
"Oh really?" She spoke with a mouth full of fruit. "From who?"
"Joe." I answered another one of her questions.
"Interesting, I never thought you'd get flowers from him," she commented. "Roses especially."
"Yeah it was unexpected but highly appreciated of him to do that," I spoke with true words.
"Oh, that's nice of him," she said and stepped closer to me. "Can I have one?"
Her sudden move was so surprising that I felt my face flush.
"Yeah, s-sure," I nodded. I sounded like Joe what the heck.
Lily took one of the roses from my hands and sniffed it.
"Hmmm~" she hummed. "It smells nice, like Joe."
She immediately corrected herself in embarrassment after I gave her a "really?" look.
"I m-mean it smells nice like how flowers do."
"Yeah," I laughed.
She held her head low with the rose in her hands, still smelling it. Lily was blushing for some reason. Maybe from embarrassment earlier from her "mistake". But it looked like from something else..
"Okay, I gotta go display these roses," I walked away. "See you later Lily!"
"Bye Tom!" she tried to match the enthusiasm.
"Oh wait!" I shouted, suddenly remembering something. "Are you free at 6 pm?"
   "I'm pretty sure, why?"
"Joe and I are planning to go to the Café at 6, so I was wondering if you'd like to come with us, y'know, the more the merrier?"
"Sure," she automatically accepted. "I'll ask if Anna would come if that's not a problem?"
"Not a problem, the more the merrier~" I cheered.
   "Okay, see you there!"
   "Bye Lily!"

~

By the the time I got home, I displayed the roses on my counter with all my trophies. The roses were like a trophy in its own way, it's like a token of me and Joe's friendship. Maybe we can become close friends like how Lily and Anna are, that would be cool.
After a few thoughts, I looked up to my clock and saw that it was 12 pm already. So I took out some tacos from my fridge and began eating my lunch. I couldn't wait until 6 pm. Lily, Anna, Joe, and I can have drinks together after dinner. It would be a good time, I have a feeling it would be.
