Chapter twenty-seven

Your POV

I groan and hold my head. My eyes widen as I feel the bandages wrapped around my head. I quickly rub my eyes from opening them to quickly.

"Oh! You're awake! That's great! I'll tell the student outside waiting for you" the nurse says.

"There's someone waiting for me?" I struggle to say.

I watch as the small old nurse ushers someone over. I see the blonde spikey hair before I see the user of it. I am shocked yet happy that he stayed to care for me.

"I'll leave you two to it" the old lady says before walking out. "Young love" she mutters.

My face grows slightly crimson as she says that. Bakugou glares at me before scoffing. He throws two things in my lap. I look down at the covers and see something gold and shiny. I lift it to see a gold medal.

"WOAH!!! DID I WIN IN MY SLEEP????" I yell excitedly.

"NO YOU DUMBASS! I WON!!" He yells pissed off.

"Oh! Makes sense." I say admiring it.

"I won it for you" He says.

I look at him shocked "ehhh??? You won for me?! Why?!?!"

"Because all I could think about was how you told me to win before I completely demolished you" He says.

A tick grows on my head after he said the last part. "Well you didn't completely demolish me but thank you for winning for me"

I look down at the other thing he threw at me and pick it up. It's a bronze metal.

"So I won third?" I ask.

"Yup" He mutters.

I smile at him before I remember how I lost. "Oh! I'm so sorry for going crazy on you!! It's just a downfall from my quirk. The more I use it the less sane I become"

"Good to know" he says.

"YOU BI-" I'm cut off from the old lady walking in the room.

"(L/N)? Someone wants to see you" she says before moving aside.

I see a small figure wall through the door. I stifle a laugh as I see that Kei is the same height as the old lady.

"O-Oh! Hey Kei!!" I say.

He just glares at me. "What did I say about being careful?!" He yells.

He launches as me but Bakugou catches him and holds him back. Kei struggles in his arms but Bakugou just sits there. Kei eventually gives up. He glares up at Bakugou,

"Who the hell are you?" He asks angrily. "Her boyfriend??"

Bakugou glares back at him "Not yet brat"

I blush and face palm. They are both too much to handle.

"Alright that's enough" I say moving to sit on the side of the bed.

"Woah woah Woah, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Bakugou asks.

"Getting ready to leave?" I ask.

"No! You can't go home like that!!" Bakugou yells with Kei still in his grip.

"What? What do you mean?! I have to leave!!" I say.

"Well then I'll carry you! I don't want you to get hurt walking home like a dumbass" he says.

I roll my eyes, "fine!"

Bakugou sets Kei down and turns around so I face his back he kneels down so I can get on. I'm still in my U.A. Gear so I don't have to worry about changing.

Bakugou carries me out of the school. Kei walks along side us. He rubs his hand together. I look down at him.

"Kei? What's wrong love?" I ask.

"Well, I usually hold your hand while we walk home but I can't because you are hurt. I'm a little scared out here alone." He mutters.

I begin to think of something to do but Bakugou lets go of my left leg. I still have a good grip on his back so I can't fall. Bakugou sticks out his hand for Kei.

"B-Bakugou?! You'll hold his hand?!!" I ask shocked.

"Only so he won't bitch about it anymore" he says.

Kei kicks his shin. "Ow you littl-" Bakugou says but is cut off as Kei places his hand in Bakugou. Bakugou hitches his breath before wrapping his big hand around Kei's small one.

It was nice and peaceful. No one was whining, all you could hear was the wind and chirping of bugs.

"Your hand it sweaty" Kei says.

"DAMNIT KEI!!!" I yell

We all get a small break from school to rest and recover from the festival. I walk out the door with my uniform to head back to school. I look down at my bandaged hands and sigh.

"Fucking fire hands. Fucking Bakugou. Fucking Fuck!!!" I mutter then yell.

I make it to the bus stop and wait. I look around to hopefully spot a sprinting Iida. However, I don't see anything. It's quite empty and quiet around here actually. Hmm, I'll ask Iida when I get to school.

I notice the bus coming this way so I regain my calm and relaxed manner. I manage to fit into the crowded bus. I find a seat not taken so I sit down. I just pick at my bandages before we stop at another bus stop. I notice an older man trying to get in. He gets in and stands in front of me struggling to keep balance. I quickly get up and pat his shoulder.

"Sir, if you'd like, you can sit here" I point to the empty seat.

"Oh well thank you!" He says sitting down.

I nod and smile. I hold onto the handle up above me.

"Hey, I notice you from somewhere actually. Weren't you on TV a couple days ago?" He asks. "What was your name? (L/N) right?"

I scratch my neck in embarrassment. I'm not used to being noticed.

"Uh Yeah! That was me on TV." I mutter out.

Multiple people turned around to look at me.

"Woah! It is you!"

"It's (Y/N) (L/N)!"

"Great job! You got third place!!"

"You're gonna be a great hero!!"

Everyone began encouraging me. I smile widely and blush.

"Thank you! Everyone!" I say before I realize this is my stop.

I walk out and everyone bids me goodbyes. I turn around and wave. The bus goes away and I begin walking to the school with a huge smile on my face. That was crazy!!!
