Chapter twenty-eight

(Edited: I changed your guys' hero name because it just didn't sound right to me. Angel isn't something I would use to describe someone who has fire power and looks like a demon 😂)

Your POV

I walk through the rain without and umbrella. I should have listened to Kei and grabbed one. Oh well, at least it wasn't raining before I got in the bus. I suddenly get a light bulb.

I make my wings appear and I move them to be above my head. My own portable umbrella, genius. I walk through the entrance with a smirk on my face. Before I drop my stuff off I step outside. I shake off my wings and make them go back into my back. Step into school and teleport to the classroom. I stretch and yawn.

Everyone began talking about how they were noticed. I just sit in front of Bakugou and sit back.

"Hey hothead! Your tail is on my desk, do you mind?!" Bakugou says.

"Or what?" I say making it slither closer to him.

He pounds his hand on it, I yelp and pull it back with a tear in my eye.

"You monster" I say holding it in my hands.

"Good morning class" Aizawa says walking in.

Everyone immediately sits down before he can notice.

"Good morning!" We say back.

"Sensei your bandages are off, that's good" Tsu chan says.

He talks about how the nurse went over board. He told us that the next thing we are doing are internships.

"We are also doing a hero related activity" Aizawa says.

Everyone pauses before he says "Code names"

"We're gonna do something exciting!!" We all yell.

Aizawa flashes his quirk and glares at us. We all sit back down and pay attention.

He presses a button making our names appear and how many internships requests we got.

I look up at the board expecting about 2 or 3.  My name pops up and..

"HOLY SHIT!" I yell.

I read my name and then next to it has a large bar saying '2310'. I am so confused. Why would so many people want me?! I was crazy out there on the battle field.

I look down at my bandaged hands.

"I can't let myself get like that again" I mutter.

"Well those hero names are still temporary but if you're not serious about it-" Aizawa is cut off by someone walking through the door.

"You'll have hell to pay later!" Midnight says.

Most of the boys were blushing and getting excited that she is in the room. I face-palm and look away from her.

She tells us how the names that we pick now may end up becoming our hero name in the future.

"So that's how it is" Aizawa says. "So Midnight will make sure your names are okay. I can't do stuff like that"

He pulls up his sleeping bag "when you pick your hero name, you get a more concrete image of what you want to be like in the future, and you can get closer to it" Aizawa says making us more confident.

I am handed a whiteboard and white board markers. I grab one of each and pass them behind me. Bakugou grabs one of each and passes it back to Midoriya. He looks confused and angry at the same time.

"So what are you goin to pick??" I ask him.

"You think of your name, I think of mine" he says.

I shrug and look back at my board. I open my marker and hold the board. How the hell do you pick a name? What if I don't like it in the future? What if people make fun of it?! What if! What if! What if!

"Hey hothead!! You're burning your board!!" Bakugou yells.

"Oh shit! Whoops" I say putting out the small fire.

I put the end of the marker below my lip. Hmmm.

After a while I still haven't thought of a name. I look at the sleeping Aizawa on the floor. He looks so calm.

"Now let's start with presentations for whoever's ready" Midnight says.

"We have to present these?!" Kirishima says.

Everyone begins presenting theirs. I feel a little inspiration before I see Bakugou go up. He slams his board down.

"King explosion murder!" He says darkly.

"I don't think you should use that" Midnight says.

"What?! Why not?!?!" Bakugou yells.

"You should be Explosion boy" Kirishima says.

I giggle a little. "Shut up weird hair!!!!" He yells.

"Okay this hero name things going by pretty fast, All that's left is Bakugou who has to rethink his, Iida, Midoriya and (L/N) right?" Midnight says.

I take a deep breath before going up. I show them my board.

"Flaming hero: Dark Phoenix" I say rubbing the back of my neck.

"So mysterious!" Midnight says.

"I think it's amazing!!" Kirishima exclaims.

"Yeah me too!!" Kaminari says.

Everyone started pitching in saying it was a great name and how they wanted a name like that.

I grin as my face turns crimson. I thank everyone and sit back. Iida goes up next with just his name. I begin to worry about him. I'll ask him after school since I couldn't this morning. Bakugou goes back up with a furious face.

"Lord Explosion Murder" he spits out with anger.

I face-palm and relax on the desk. We finished deciding what our names were so now we are getting our lists of people to go to for internships.

"You have to decided before the weekend" Aizawa says taking his sleeping bag with him. "Dismissed"

"We have two days?!" Kirishima asks.

I look through my list, there are so many!!! Some of them I haven't even heard of. However, one of them stuck out. He is new and I'd love to learn from him.

"(L/N), You have a super long list to go through. You might not even finish decided before the due date" Mina asks.

"I actually already decided" I say smiling.

"Woah?! What?! Who are you going to be an intern for??" She asks.

"Kamui Woods" I say smiling.
