A reluctant man

Lunging myself off the bed and into the morning, my feet studderingly hit the bare cold floors and like that, my memories flood in. I remember the day Mason came in, hearing the crash and clings of objects scurrying across my living room floor. Racing into the room, I was shocked to see Mason there, but not shocked to see him drunk, on his ass. "What the hell, did you not even knock? There are apartments, you are drunk again and you can get me in trouble" my eyes glued to mason with a narcastic look. Mason, bellowing around, makes his way to the kitchen in attempt to sit on the plastered counter. He misses at a long, knocking all the figurines from the counter off into the floor. I shake my head in agony and point to the entrance of my bedroom. And without a word, we both head to bed.

Mason sits at the edge of the bed, and in one hand a beer, in the left his phone. In a robust curiosity; I quickly find myself peering over his shoulder only to see the hearts with a guy named wade. At that moment, my muscles seize. Every part of my body., However, not in anger. But in the reality that he will never change who he is. And that to him, I was nothing. Standing there for a good long minute, Mason finally raises his head and his eyes focus on me through the mirror only to see me in tears. Manipulatingly and loud; Mason screams, "why are you always so nosy?! It's like you don't trust me and I can never get away from you!"

I began to beg him to stop but before I could, Mason rears back his beer can and seemingly strikes against my face. Leaning against the door with the gash in my head, I scramble to get up but only intercepted by Mason's hands; pushed into the corner where I hit my head on the door protector. And with that, Mason exits the door. No energy to get up or move, my vision fades and my body goes numb. The only feeling I can feel, is the tears running down my face as I lay on that cold floor, with blurry vision.
