Zana Garofani, for the first time in 100 days, had the chance to relax. Her mind buzzed with excitement, as she absent-mindedly traced the hem of her new grey shirt with her fingers.

She leant back in her seat and stretched her tired legs forward until they reached the seat in the row in front of her. She sighed as she lifted up the blinds and pressed her face up to the small round glass window.

Zana peered down below at the Malaysian jungle, getting smaller and smaller as the plane ascended. Her thoughts were interrupted by her growling stomach. She realised that she hadn't properly eaten in at least eighteen hours, and was absolutely famished. She reached up to the panel of buttons above her and pressed the one that would hopefully summon a flight attendant. She smiled as an air hostess did come wandering down the aisle.

"How can I help you?" she asked with a pleasant smile.

"Is there by chance any decent food on this aircraft, 'cos boy, I'm bloody starving." Zana replied with a grin.

"Today's flight offers chicken curry, roast lamb and veggies, and pesto pasta." Zana thought for a moment before adding, "I'll have the pasta thank you very much. And an orange juice. Gotta keep up my vitamin C levels." The air hostess tilted her head in bemusement for a moment before tottering back down the aisle.

In less than a minute Zana had her tray down and was delving into what seemed like the meal of a lifetime. Turns out it wasnt all that gourmet, but right then Zana could've been served up anything and called it spectacular.

She donned half the orange juice in one gulp, but moderated herself over the rest of the flight.

Finally, approximately 12 hours later they arrived back in Heathrow airport. As soon as the group of raggly ten-to-eleven year olds got to the luggage collection they were surrounded by friends and siblings. Zana hugged everyone she saw indiscriminately, and laughed when she realised her own brother wasn't there.

"Maaaajor trust." her best friend and fellow CHERUB agent Chloe whispered to her. Zana laughed and nudged Chloe on the shoulder, before they took off to the minivan that would take them deep into the unknown British countryside to their destination.

Zana flooded with relief when she saw CHERUB campus, her home of seven years, despite only being away from it for three days. Her and Chloe hopped out of the van before it even stopped to step out onto the grass lawn before the main building and formally congratulate themselves of becoming qualified CHERUB agents. As they walked toward the accomodation block, Zana remembered the other perk (besides missions) of being a grey shirt. Moving from the shabby junior block, sharing a room with three bratty eight year olds, to living in the far more luxurious studio apartment-style quarters in the main building. Somehow tramping through mud (and worse) for three months it had slipped her mind.

Zana grabbed Chloe's hand as they both rushed into the front foyer on the first floor, snatched their room keys from the receptionist, and barged into the elevator up to the fourth floor. They ran down the hall until they reached their room, 409. Buzzing with excitement the girls pushed their key into the door knob lock and it clicked open and revealed their new room. Chloe was practically squealing and Zana almost let a tear of joy slide

down her cheek. She rushed forward and dumped her suitcase at the foot of her new bed before running in circles around their new room. "Its so BIG!" Zana shouted ecstatically. Chloe nodded as she looked around the space, before placing her own luggage by the doorway. "Come on, Zarns, we need to catch up with everyone, gang's always got good goss."
