Chapter 5

Ok so Bucky and Steve were not prepared for that, they will never be prepared for that.

"WHAT?!" Sarah flinched when they yelled, "I'm just saying-" "No Sarah! You're not just saying that, you....actually planned it. Are you?" Steve asked looking at his daughter in horror, "It was an idea I've had for years yes." Sarah admitted "But we all have to agree that killing me and destroying the stone is better than letting it fall into the wrong hands. Besides, the others on Thano's world might need its power, so...I have to go."

Bucky watched as Sarah dug in her pocket for her sling ring, he couldn't let her leave to go towards the enemy "What is this to you?! Play time?!" Sarah looked back at him in surprise then her expression turned into anger "What?!" "So that you could be a hero of earth again?!" "No!" Sarah could not believe her father would even think that! "Then what?! What is it?!" Bucky yelled "They're not strong enough!" "Strong enough?! So you going will make them stronger?!" "No! I never said that!" "So you sacrificing your life will make them stronger?!"

"THEY ARE NOT PREPARED!!!!!!!!!!"

Sarah's outburst surprised Bucky that he took a step back, Kira and Steve both were surprised too. Sarah looked up at them with tears in her eyes, "They're not prepared, we are not prepared. I-I've had nightmares and visions for years of this war, before I was captured by hydra, and before I even knew that I had this stone in me. The reality stone has been showing me what will happen in this reality for years, it's showed me how strong he is." She paused.

"If he gets all the infinity stones, he'll be able to destroy all of humanity with the snap of his fingers just like that." Sarah snapped her fingers and Kira flinched, Sarah made eye contact with her parents and for the first time in years, Bucky and Steve could actually see how broken the visions have made her. She looked more broken than when she was an asset of hydra, "I think...it's also been telling me that I play a big part in this whole goddamn war."

"You may not want me to go towards the enemy, but I have to." Steve and Bucky exchanged looks before nodding at their daughter, "We all know how a superhero must sometimes do the things that are very stupid in order to make sure everyone else is safe." Steve said, Sarah nodded and smiled "I bet you two, that I will be back in time to save your super soldier butts from getting killed by an alien." Her parents smirked "We'll take that bet."

And with that, Sarah created a portal and hopped in, Steve and Bucky's smiles both fell when the portal closed. They just.....had a bad feeling.
