Overwhelmed and Pinned

Karasu's P.O.V.

The day was dragging on like a slow motion nightmare. When I'd first stepped onto the schools grounds there were nothing but eyes constantly watching me. From random people as well as the Akatsuki. Of course they were going to stop and stare. The new kid with nerves of steel shows up with bruises covering his body and an arm hidden away, not to mention I had to travel with the Akatsuki. Between already looking like a walking corpse and having Hidan so kindly shove me out the door upon arrival, today was doomed for failure. I tried my best to stay far away from them today. I really needed to talk to Gaara about everything that happened, but from the look in his teal eyes when I walked in my first class, I could tell he had pretty much figured it out by himself. The rest of the looks I got from the class were a bit hard to read. The leaf kids looked shocked at my beaten state. The Taka group just looked slightly curious. The rest of them, teachers included, were left to talk and rumor about it.
I grumbled as I walked past everyone toward my seat and was about to get away with sitting down quietly until the blonde idiot appeared in front of me.

"Dude what the hell happened to you?!" I couldn't help the deadly glare that I shot at him. Through gritted teeth I sighed.

"Is there something wrong?" The venom in my voice was strong enough to kill an elephant. 'How dare he point out my obvious loss. He has some nerve. Sure he was an idiot but that was no excuse!'

"Naruto!!" The usually lackadaisical Shikamaru was out of his chair and had an arm around the idiot's neck in seconds.

"I- uh.. sorry about him." The pineapple head pulled Naruto away while mumbling something about it being 'such a drag.' His eyes shined with a cautious/knowing glint, lingering on mine for a moment too long as he walked away. On any normal day I would have questioned him about it, but between the ache in my muscles and constantly having to pull up my one size to big pants, I couldn't care less. Casting one last cautious glance at him I sunk heavily in my seat and let the class begin, all the while dodging various things Hidan was tossing in my direction. I could feel each of the Akatsuki's eyes on me. Watching me carefully for any signs of a rebellion. They expected me to lash out, which was getting really hard to resist, and to try to get away from them. They didn't know my hidden agenda though, so I needed to stay calm... But man was that getting really tough. My expression through the entire class couldn't have reflected just how annoyed I really was. The top of my desk was littered with pens, crumpled papers, and the occasional sharp kunai. The teacher obviously saw it, but was too chicken to say anything. It was Hidan after all, he would murder the guy. The last of my fraying nerves snapped near the end of a lecture as a surge of pure power flowed through my veins. Standing with enough force to knock my chair backwards into Gaara's desk I yanked out a kunai that was lodged in the wood of mine and chucked it viciously in the albino's direction. It was so fast he didn't even see it coming. Hidan's body leaned far out of his seat away from my direction and if I hadn't known better, I would have mistook the flash in his wide magenta eyes as fear. A textbook, held firmly by a third party, was the only thing sparing Hidan from my flaring rage. The tip of the kunai, protruding out of the textbook, was touching the center of his forehead. Blood started to make its way down the bridge of his nose. Itachi was the one holding the textbook, his arm reached as far is it could go, and his body was painfully outstretched across his own desk. He looked as it he had barely made it in time. Those brilliant red eyes showing the only bit of emotion in them that I hadn't seen before. Shock. They matched the reaction of the rest of the Akatsuki who were present. The silence in the room was deafening and the fire running though my veins was white hot. 'S-something is wrong...' My breathing was harsh and my vision was tunneled. 'T-this isn't right...' I shuffled quickly away from my desk and past the stunned students. Two of them catching my eyes in my peripheral vision. The first was known as Neji, the one that mentioned I had something sealed inside me a few days ago. He had a strictly focused gaze on the center of my body. The other was Shikamaru. Briefly in my panic to leave the class my eyes connected with his and it was like he was looking at someone completely different. The same shock I saw in Itachi replaced the curious look I'd received at the beginning of class. 'What was wrong with me?' I left the class in seconds and practically ran down the hall slowing only when I caught my reflection in a passing window. My breath left me.
