*Beep* *Beep*

The sound of my annoying alarm clock waking me up. I wanted to throw it across the room but I'm to lazy.

I rolled out of my bed and walked into my closet deciding what to wear to school today. I then choose my pink summer dress that went about to my knees. I pulled out my black leather jacket and black converse shoes.

After I was ready I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and did my hair into loose curls. I smiled at my reflection and walked downstairs to the kitchen, my mom was standing by the stove making pancakes and bacon for me and my older brother Preston. "Hi sweetie!" she smiled at me "Hi mom" I slowly walked over and grabbed a plate and sat down at the kitchen table. Once I finished I screamed for Preston to come downstairs and eat before were late to school. After a minute or two I heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. He went over to mom and hugged her since he was the kiss up child. While he was still eating I heard a honk from outside knowing that my boyfriend Justin was here to pick me up for school. I stood up walking out the door saying goodbye to my mother and Preston.

I hopped in the car giving him a quick kiss. He smiled and then started driving. "You know Scarlett it's almost our one year anniversary" he said smiling "Really I've wasted a whole year of my life with you!" I laughed "Man what a waist of my time" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek while he was sitting their biting his lip trying not to laugh. "Yeah whatever you know you've had the best year ever" I rolled my eyes at him "Yeah sure think what you want, but how were you thinking were gonna spend our anniversary?" I said eyeing him. "We'll I did have something in mind" he said putting his had on my thy up way to far if you ask me. "Justin you know I'm not ready yet" I said pushing his had further away from my 'area' "Babe we've been together a whole year! How long do you want to wait?!" his voice getting louder with each word he spoke. "Justin can we please not discuss this now?" He rolled his eyes and parked the car.

I opened my door and started walking towards the school when I ran into what I thought was a tree and though 'since when are trees in the parking lot' but then I looked up to see green eyes looking down at me with worry.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't see you their" he said panicking. Oh I forgot to say I'm kinda really good friends with the most popular girl in school so people are kinda afraid of me because they think I'm some preppy bitch- witch is not the case I'm the exact opposite I loved talking to people that were outside of our circle.

"Oh no it's fine I wasn't looking were I was going... Scarlett Thomson" he smiled "Ashton.. Ashton Irwin" he looked at the ground "Hey aren't you in that band 5 seconds......" "5 Seconds of summer and yeah I'm the drummer" he blushed "Oh yeah I've heard you guys play your really good" he smiled "We'll I've got to get going to my first class I'll see you later Ashton." He nodded and we separated and I found myself smiling like a manic but why?

I was on my way to my first period stopping at my locker to get my things. Then all of a sudden my locker was slammed shut. I looked over to see who shut it and it was Justin. "Oh that goodness you gave me a heart attack" I giggled "What the hell was that!" he screamed at me "What do you mean?" I started shaking. He never yells like this "You know bloody we'll what I'm talking about Scarlett!" rolling his eyes he started walking away "No I have no idea what your talking about" I try keeping my voice soft "Oh so I just imagined you talking to that guy and you walking away like some love struck idiot!" he screamed louder. "Justin I bumped into him and we had a small conversation then I left that's it" my voice starting to get louder then I just walked away luckily having all the items I need for first period.

I then walked into the class room and took my normal seat and then out of the corner of my eye you see the same messy blonde hair walk into the class room. It was Ashton he's not normally in this class so why was he here now?

"Ashton?" He looked over and smiled "What are you doing in here?" I gave him a confused look "I....uh.. transferred classes I couldn't stand my other class" I gave him a quick smile before he sat in the empty seat next to me.

"So what was your other class that you 'couldn't stand' " you giggled "Art" he said plain with out any emotion in his voice at all "You don't like art!" I practically screamed "We'll it was okkk but I couldn't stand the teacher" he smiled "So you went from an art class to music education?... We'll now that I think of it. It does make some sense since your in a band" I giggled

"Yeah and oh I heard their was a test coming up soon in this class" he looked at his desk. "Yeah it's like half of our mid-term grade" he let out a sigh "I mean you could always come over and I could help you study figuring I've already learned the stuff" he giggled "Yeah that would be great I'll just give you my number so just call when you want to study" he smiled

Wow he has a really nice smile.

Scarlett you can't think that way you have a boyfriend!

But Ashton's new and really attractive

Keep it friendly that's all you can ever be.
