Waking up in the morning is the hardest thing in my life. Or what I thought was the hardest thing in my life. Let me give you a look at about a year and a half ago.

'Why is this happening to me?' I thought to myself running down the sidewalk to make it before first bell went off. "Hello" I've heard that voice somewhere, but I don't remember where... "Hello, Miss? Can you hear me?" 'Why is it so bright right now? Are those car horns? What's going on?' I finally can see again. 'Why the hell am I laying in the middle of the road?' I try to sit up only to be pushed back onto the ground. "You need to stay still, don't move, just wait until the ambulance gets here to pick you up" the familiar voice said again. I try to ask what's going on, but the only thing that comes out are a few raspy sounding syllables that can't make a word. I feel myself falling back to sounds of sirens, and the scared shaking of my body.

I wake up later, but this time to a different setting, the walls brushed with white, the room unsettlingly quite with the exception of a constant beeping. Someone knocks on the door before entering my room. My throat is dry and sore, so its pointless to try and speak. "Lisbeth? I have the correct name, right?" I nodded at the stranger with a irritated look in my face. It's almost as if he knew I didn't want him here in the room with me. "The nurses thought it was a good idea for us to meet."
