The Unknown Original (Vampire Diaries fan-fic)

Juliette's POV

*Flashback*

Year~1053

Klaus and I were walking through the woods like we did every evening. Klaus stopped at a meadow and had me come with him, we layed down in the field of what looked like vervain.

"Klaus?" I asked.

"Yes Juliette." he said turning on his side to look at me.

"I love you." I whispered because I was scared of his reaction.

"As I love you." he said tucking a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear. "Don't ever forget that either." he said as he stared into my blue eyes.

"Only if you never forget that I love you." I teased. I then stood up and ran around the meadow. "If you want me you'll have to catch me!" I yelled at him as I continued to run.

"Okay!" he yelled back as he got up laughing, after about two minutes of running he finally caught me around the waist. "Caught you." he whispered.

"You have indeed caught me." I said in between giggles.

"What's my prize?" he asked as he turned me around to look at him.

"What shall you wish your prize to be?" I asked as I stood on my tiptoes so I was a little taller.

"I had a few ideas but one in particular." he said as he leaned down and kissed me softy. After a minute or so we ended up falling to the ground.

"Sorry." I said sheepishly.

"Sorry for what?" he asked looking me in the eyes.

"For this." I said gesturing to us being on the ground.

"This is my fault, too." he said leaning closer. Klaus then hovered over top of me and place one hand by my head and the other around my waist until finally our lips touched again. We stayed like this until we heard Elijah calling our names and ignored him until we heard footsteps that were roughly a few feet away.

"Klaus! Julie-" he started to yell again but stopped mid-sentence. "Oh, um, I'm sorry." he said and I buried my face in Klaus's chest.

"Yes, Elijah?" Klaus asked impatiently.

"Mother wants the two of you at dinner." Elijah said as he waited for us to follow.

"Elijah, I am sorry about your sister's death." I said as we walked over to him. Klaus and I walked with our arms linked and when we reached Elijah I linked my arm with his too.

"It was tragic, but I would prefer not to speak of that." he responded.

"As you wish." I said as we reached the edge of the woods. We walked through the village till we got to the Mikealson's home. When we reached the front door Esther was already there waiting for our arrival.

"Esther." I greeted with a smile.

"Juliette, it is lovely to see you again." she greeted me with a smile.

"As it is to see you." I said as we walked into her home.

After we ate dinner everything else was a blur. All I know is that when I woke up I was beside Klaus and we each had blood stains on our clothes, there were holes in our shirts to. Then I remembered that Mikeal had stabbed us all with his sword.
