Hey! Thanks for coming to another story. If this is your first of mine, I have another Joeck Story and a couple others you might find interesting. Hope you like this one though!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That's enough Fortnite for today." Jack's deep voice rung through the headphones, making Joe shiver slightly but still remain concentrated on his game.
"Did you join the game just to tell me that?" Joe was confused, Jack had come over acting a little nervous, or fidgety to say the least.
-----------------
The doorbell sounded out and Joe jumped from his sitting position to allow Jack in. He called around 30 minutes earlier requesting a visit - something about it made him slightly nervous. He couldn't help but think that was something to do with the week before, the last time they'd seen each other.
A couple of minutes passed and the door had been automatically opened, no need to knock. As soon as Joe layed eyes on Jack, it was like he resounded nervousness, his feet had both turned inwards and his head was directed towards the laminate below them.
"Hey." The usual friendly greeting was conversed and a casual hug was shared so the formalities could be over and done with and they could retreat to the sofa.
They only talked for a little while, catching up, until they decided to play Fortnite that is.
----------------
"Yes, now get off, I came here to speak to you." As soon as the words erupted -calmly- from Jack, Joe had no second thought other than getting of the console and forcing himself to the living room, dragging his feet with the timid attitude Jack had earlier.
"I'm here." The smooth sound of Joe's voice made Jack stop pacing and sit on the sofa, Joe sat too, quite closely to him.
With a slightly shaky tone, the younger blonde began the conversation. "Okay. This is going to sound odd, but be patient with me, yeah?" Only a nod was given in response. "Remember what happened last week?"
Of course Joe remembered, how could he forget? It was the only thing he'd thought of for those last 7 days, so much so, there was no video uploaded on Sunday. He had preoccupied himself thinking.
------------------
Despite the size of the apartment, everyone had pushed 'round to Jack's for the night. The lot were there to devour hundreds of pounds in takeaway and relax to the sound of Netflix.
Three hours and two movies later, pizza boxes were spread over the sofa and only Joe and Jack remained. They lived so close there was no reason to leave so soon.
In amongst the disregarded packaging, their hands had rested on the chair space between them, that was normal. It was just when Joe moved his hand, laying it on top of Jack's, that seemed out of the ordinary. Heat rushed to both of their faces, but neither were aware of this change in appearance, they didn't want to say anything, liking how they felt together.
Only a couple of minutes passed before Jack turned to Joe, inwardly sighing at the sight he was presented with. The TV had lit up his face, his blue eyes sparkling with the white light. Pure beauty, he thought. He'd never felt this was about anyone, particularly not a male-anyone. But Joe, Joe was different. Sure, Jack could appreciate a good looking guy, but with his older acquaintance, it was more than just recognising the features, it was involving himself with them. Each time he saw his face, his body, heard his laugh, his voice, Jack would put himself in the situation. What if he was the one to make him laugh? The only one there to see his face? All to himself. And he couldn't deny that was what he wanted. Joe - all to himself.
