He isn't.
He can be bad, but not wicked.
Daeval is an eccentric man, from the line of Nightmae (a very strange family, with mental issues)
Don't inform him of this though, because he is likely to either be angry, or, perhaps, act totally crushed and depressed.
So pretend you think he's evil.
