Prolouge

Yuki POV

My name is Adachi Yuki. I'm a vampire princess (pure blooded) the number one vampire except for the Queen and King, of course.

My family is known for standing around more then 970 years, we stand at the top no matter what.

I have 4 other siblings, making a total of 5. I'm the 3rd oldest and now it was my turn to be a princess. My family have a policy, once you turn 240 years old, you then become a princess. If you go over 260 you may be free from the family and do whatever you want( for example like marry).

My maid came in to tell me that my parents ask me to see them in their room.

Everyone has their own personal maid or servant

In my case, my maid name was Heera. She was kind and loyal to me, she would do anything to help me or what's best for me. I think of her as my sister and my 2nd mother, since, my real mother and me never really communicate.

Heera had white hair(she actually look good with it then other people) with beautiful blue crystal eyes that shine in the moonlight.

I walk toward my parents bedroom and knock.

"Come in."

I open the huge brown door with engravings of a moon.

"Yuki, I have news for you...you are going to be the next vampire princess."

I look at them with shock.

A/N she didn't know anything about the princess policy thing.

"Wait a minute, why me? I don't want to be one. I said with a mad and sad expression.

"Yuki we have a policy that you don't know yet, once you turn 240 years old you become a princess and today is your birthday." My dad explain.

I became silent.

"And you will have lots of responsibility as a vampire princess." My mother add in.

I don't want this and I don't even know how to feel. Being a princess is not my thing.

I just want to be a normal vampire not a vampire princess. Being a princess is a lot of work. Plus I don't even know what to do as a princess. I might even destroy my country. Who knows what I do.

I ran out of the room hearing my dad say "I hope she be alright, I know it's a lot to take in."

"So do i."

I saw Heera looking at me with concern as I ran past her.

No! I won't be alright! Why does this has to happen to me. I then look up and saw that I was in a field of flowers.

I felt hot tears on my face. Why? I thought while looking at the sky.

I started to cry again while having my hands on my face.

I felt a warm hand on my shoulder and I look up and saw a boy staring at me.

"Why are you crying?" The strange boy ask. He had blonde hair and green eyes. What gorgeous eyes I thought to myself.

"I'm becoming a princess and I don't want to." I reply back.

"I see, but I bet you make a good princess and I don't think it's bad being one, if I do say so myself. Plus when I was little I would tell my friends and family that I want to be a princess." He said with a laugh.

I giggle.

"Oh by the way I'm Hase Hirito."

"I-I'm Adachi Yuki.."

"Well nice to meet you, Yuki!" Hirito said with a smile.

"Oh and if you want a shoulder to cry on, I always be there when you need it, I promise."He said with a wink and a thumbs up.

"Hirito..., thank you." I said smiling.

"Now that more like it!"

He held out his hand and I took it and we both stood up, while the wind was blowing around us under the moonlight.

Narrator POV

That night a strange boy made a promise to a princess of monsters.
