Betty's POV:
After we took Charles and Sarah home, it was just Jughead and I.
"Betts, I'm sorry." Jughead said sadly, ashamed of what happened in the abandoned building.
"Sorry isn't gonna cut it this time...you murdered someone Jug!" I yelled at him, tears running down my cheeks.
"Did you think I wanted to kill Kevin?! I had to or else it would've been me instead of him!"
"Maybe that wouldn't be so bad after all." I said, rolling my eyes at him.
"You don't mean that..."
"I do Jug, I really do. Just...take me home." I told him, wiping a few tears away.
I heard him sigh as he started up the car. He drove to my place, dropping me off. I didn't say a single word to him on the way there. The car was filled with complete silence.
"Betty..." Jughead said, making me turn my head to look at him.
"I didn't mean to scare you at all back there. I just wanted to protect you. The entire time in that house...I was making sure you were safe."
"I was fine on my own...I didn't need you saving me Jughead. I can fight my own battles without killing someone in the process." I said with a little laugh.
Jughead nodded, laughing a bit. "I deserved that one...but if that's what you want, your wish is my command my queen." He said with a smile.
I returned a smile towards him before placing my lips on his. "My life's better with you in it, don't leave so quickly my prince."
"I won't, I promise princess." Jughead said softly, kissing my forehead gently.
I gave him a smile before heading into my house. I let out a huge sigh of relief from finding Sarah, making sure she was safe.
But now that all of the drama is over, my acting life returns.
