When Mikey was 16 he was put on bipolar-depressant medication, and he wasn't so bad anymore.

Even though he was on the meds he would still get into fights a lot. In 9th grade he beat up a jock for making fun of a 7th grade girl who had had her hair cut short, and framed to the front. She had it dyed purple and she reminded Mikey of himself.

He also hated high school. He thought it was making people idiots. Telling people what they can and can't wear, what thy can and can't say. They don't ever teach you in school how to make it anywhere, they just have you regurgitate the facts that they throw at you. So when Michael turned 18 he dropped out.

He had already gotten in 6 fights that school year, 2 of which were outside of school but they still count right? His father said he was just "too much for his mother to handle" so his father kicked him out.

Okay yeah, so Mikey might have slight anger issues. It's not really his fault that this guy looked at him like he was scum, and so Mikey just like freaked.

All his his high school life he was treated lower because of his hair and his clothes and his grade and his bullshit father. So yeah the guy looked at him and he got really angry because he is so sick of it, he is just a person like everyone else.

And he didn't ever understand why all these people looked at him like he was lesser than them because he wore ripped jeans and flannels and had his hair dyed abnormal colors, (right now it was green but it was fading and he was thinking of some sort of purple next, maybe lavender).

So Mikey was like living in his car, or sometimes crashing on Ashton's couch. Well until Ashton is talking while helping Mikey dye his hair again, (he decided against lavender and did this peachy color) and told him about his friend Luke, who has an apartment by himself and needs a roommate because working at the record store isn't enough to pay.

The discussion peaks Mikey's interest and he has been looking for something like this for a while, he really really needs to talk to this Luke guy.

And that's how Mikey met Luke, through Ashton. What Ashton failed to admit though is that Luke has select-mutism, and is super fucking shy and twitchy, and that loud noises scare him. It's okay with Michael he gets it, he really gets it. And he likes the quiet anyways because his parents fought a lot about money and jobs when he was younger.

It took awhile but finally Mikey was able to talk to Luke about the apartment and Luke didn't really see anything wrong with Michael except for maybe his hair, not that there was anything wrong with it, just the color didn't suit him per-say. It was a peachy color, it clashed with his pale skin and it didn't match his attitude.

So now at the moment Mikey is taking all of the boxes from his car and moving them up the two flights of stairs to Luke's apartment. Who the hell wants to live so far up?
