Questing the line (Small Hiatus, Sorry)

Chapter 5 part 2

Cuphead's POV

"Decaf! I remember you now! What are you doing?" Decaf dropped to his knees.

"You killed him. You killed my Bendy!" he cried he slammed his hand on the ground.

The ground shook making me fall over. Decaf grabbed Bendy by his tuft of hair after getting up;

"So it's payback. You killed mine, I'll kill yours plus the devil still wants you and your brother's heads. He said that if I bring you all in then he'll revive Benaiah."

"You can be better than this Decaf! You know that Benaiah was dying anyway. He wanted me to end his suffering so I killed him. It broke my heart," I yelled, "Please! We can free you from the devil's cruel lies. You should know that he is a liar and won't say the truth. He can't bring back the dead! Even so, Benaiah wouldn't be the same."

"You're lying! The devil only speaks the truth! Stop trying to fill my head with lies!" Decaf screamed.

He released Bendy and put his hands on his head and shook it around, "LIES! LIES! LIES!"

I ran over and scooped up Bendy into a bridal style hold. I gave him a kiss on his forehead then started to run. The trees broke as I almost tripped. Mugman was standing with Boris as I ran up to them.

"Take him!" I said to Mugman and Boris giving Bendy to them.

'He'll be safe with them.' I turned and saw Decaf there with his brother, Mugshot.

"Perfect! This is amazing! All of you in one place and Cuphead," Mugshot cheered, "If he moves, the others will get hurt! So it's a win-win!"

Boris lunged forward, drew his sword, and slashed at Decaf.

'Take out the elder one first. If I take out Mugshot, Decaf will be harder to fight but if I take out Decaf first, Mugshot will flee with his brother in arms,' Boris thought, still slashing at Mugshot.

Just by looking at him, I could tell what the wolf was thinking. I ran to my brother and Bendy.

"Let's go Mug," I said calmly.

"Leave!? My best friend is risking his life!" Mugman yelled at me.

"Listen to me Muggy!" Boris yelled while clashing with the copy cup-bros, "Run! I'll take care of this!"

Mugman gasped as Boris stumbled. I grabbed Mug's hand and ran. We got inside an abandoned house and I noticed how terrified my brother looked. He had never looked so terrified before.

Mugman's POV

'Damn my brother! He is the worst!' I thought in raged.

"Muggy?" Cuphead asked.

"What?" I growled, sneering at him in hatred.

"Boris will be fine Mug. I know him by heart and he is an amazing and challenging opponent to fight." Bendy said.

They heard the sound of someone teleporting away. I raced outside and saw Boris on the ground with no right leg and left paw. He was unhurt but in those two places. When Cuphead and Bendy turned their backs, I ran inside, grabbed the necessary needs to live, and ran. I ran into a town on the other side of the moor. I approached it to see it was full of toons. I walked into a bar to see that it wasn't very full.

"Oh, hey little mugboy!" someone yelled,"Long time no see."

"Hey Dice," I said sitting down next to him.

I sighed and slammed my head against the table,"And my name is Mugman, not Mugboy."

"Sorry. Where is your asshole of a brother?" King Dice asked.

"Don't talk about that thief. He's a liar," I cried," I left behind Boris... I'm a terrible friend."

"Wait? BORIS?!" Dice screeched,"YOU KNOW WHERE HE IS?! TELL ME!"

He started to shake me making some of my milk in my head spill.

"Calm down!" I said as he stopped, taking a drink out of his beer," I know where he is. Just outside of this place, through the moor, right by a little town."

"How long?" Dice asked looking over, "How long have you known him?"

"I've known him since we were young but I didn't know that it was him." I sighed.

"Come with me Mug." King Dice said getting up.

He paid for his drink and left with me in hand. We started to walk into a little section of the town. It was crawling with the past debtors.

"Well, well, well," a girl said.

I looked up to see my ex, Cala Maria.

"Hey, Mari." I sighed,"What do you want?"

"I've never seen you without whats his face, the wolf boy," Cala responded.

"Leave me alone Mari. I'm not in the mood." I mumbled walking away.

She scoffed and turned away. Dice and I approached a mansion as I looked at it. It was a lot like the Devil's casino, then it hit me. King Dice was taking me back to the Devil. We walked inside as I heard him call out;

"Boss! I've got someone who knows Boris' whereabouts."

"Really?" I saw the Devil walk out of the kitchen,"Well, Mugman! Long time no see. Why don't you turn off your magic? Show your true self."

I mumbled the words "magic release" beneath my breath as I returned to normal. I had brown hair like normal but some was flowing out of the top sides of my head and my straw. I was half girl but I hated for people to know but the Devil, let's say, my brother, Bendy, Alice, Eri, Ari, and Boris were in his shows in the concert hall.

"There's that beautiful face I hired. I'm sorry that your own brother stole your spotlight." Lucifer said putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Boss, shall I...." Dice started.

"No. We'll go after Boris soon but not now. I want to talk with them about their contracts." Lucifer said removing his hand,"You should go check on Alice, Mugman, she has been worried sick about you and she hasn't been as, energetic."

"Alice is here?! Where?!" I asked.

It has been so long since I saw her. We made songs and did everything together, we even shared the spotlight together. We had made a robot for Blind Specter's cousin, Eevela Spectra.

"She is on the second floor, first room." Dice said and I started to run up the stairs.

"ALICE!" I cried with joy as I opened her door.

She jumped up and saw me as her eyes teared up.

"MUGMAN!" She cried hugging me tightly.

We looked at each other, giggled, then hugged even tighter.
