The kiss

We all just walked into the TARDIS and we are standing around the counsel. Jack puts his arm around my waist and the Doctor glares at him. He smirks and pulls me closer to him.

"Jack aren't you supposed to tell me something?" I ask looking up at him and raising my eyebrows.

"Later Angel. Right now we need to get me resituated. Can you walk me to my room Angel?" Jack asks and smiles. I am happy he is back. He let's me go and I walk him to his room.

"Don't get used to this Jack me walking you to your room." I say and me kisses my forehead.

"What was that for?" I ask knowing that a blush has formed on my cheeks.

"For shooting me Angel." He says and moves a strand of my hair back behind my ear. I look him in the eye and then clear my thought. He takes his hand away and stands awkwardly.

"Well this is where your room is and remember this isn't going to happen again me walking you here. I promise." I say and wink. I kiss him on the cheek and walk back to the console. The Doctor isn't in there. I go to the kitchen and make two batches of chocolate chip cookies. I put them on two trays and take one to the doctor's room. I put them on his night table because he is in the shower. I write a note that says 'I got bored and made cookies.' I walk back to the kitchen and grab the other tray and walk to Jacks room. I knock and he opens the door in his jimjams.

"Angel are these for me?" He asks and smiles.

"I felt like eating a tray of cookies and not giving any to you what do you think nimrod?" I say and sit down in a chair.

"We sharing?" He asks and I nod yes. He grabs a cookie and sits next to me.

"Be right back I forgot milk." I say and hurry out and close the door. I run to my room and put my hair in a pony tail. Then I hurry to the kitchen and I pour some milk. I walk back to Jacks room. This time I just walk right in. He is sitting on his bed. I hand him a glass and sit in a chair.

"Your supposed to tell me something Jack."

"I know and I feel like eating a cookie and telling you." He says slowly reaching for a cookie.

"Jack seriously?" I say as he inches his way to the tray. Then he randomly gets up and sticks his head out the door and closes it.

"You really want to know?"

"Duh!" I say and make a duh face if that exists.

"OK so the doctor and I weren't talking because of the face that he is treating you just like he did you mom and I said if he keeps treating you like her then the way you stop traveling is going to be the same. Stuck in a parallel universe until you dad died and you moved back here."

"So you weren't talking because you mad him mad and mentioned my mom?"

"Basically. The cookies are Delicious by the way."

"Thank you." I say and Jack and I stand up at the same time. He walks over to me and I walk towards the door. He grabs my hand and twirls me around. He stops me twirling when we have half a centimeter between us. He is looking me in the eye. My breath quickens. I realise how close we are and hug him.

"That's not what I twirled you here for." He says and he lifts my head from his chest and kisses my cheek.

"And what was that for?" I ask looking him in the eye. He smiles and looks at the door.

"Remember when you said I could kiss you whenever?"

"No." I lied. I remember that I said it as a joke I didn't think he was going to act on it.

"Well you did and I am saving that for another day. But until then." He said and lightly brushed his lips on mine. He left me go but I didn't move.

"Can I have some notice on that day?" I asked him with a hint is sass in my voice.

"Nah cuz then I don't get the look that you have when I surprise you." He answered and smirked.

"You think you don't have a look? Believe me I've seen it." I said and smirked right back at him then I planted a kiss on his cheek and got the look. "There it is!" I said and smiled.

I walked out leaving him looking dumbfounded. I walk to my room and go to take a shower but am met by the doctor standing in my room.

"Where have you been?"
