(Your POV)

I stared at the slightly open window for quite some time. The moment I saw that window being tied shut, I thought escape would be impossible. But seeing the window starting to open even just a little bit had given me hope.

I was probably staring at it for such a long time that I had even forgotten that I was crying.

I slowly walk up to the window and saw that the knot that was keeping the rope together was starting to rip.

Could it be the sun burning it? Or maybe a bird poked at it?

Either way, I can finally escape out of here once I can cut the rope off completely.

I look around to find something thin enough to slide through the window and I noticed that the food tray from last night was still in the room. I rush over to the tray, hoping to find a butter knife but there wasn't one.

I wouldn't doubt it, if Absalom had put a knife on there I probably would've killed myself or used it to escape.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

I heard knocking on the door and I quickly go to open it to find a zombie there with new tray of food.

You- "Yes?"

Zombie- "Good Morning Lady (Y/N), Absalom has sent me to give you your breakfast."

You- "Oh, thank you."

The zombie smiled and took the tray from last night and placed the new one on the stand.

Zombie- "There we go, I'll be back in a few hours to give you your lunch."

You- "Thanks again."

The zombie nodded and left after he had given me my breakfast.

I sighed and figured I should probably eat the food that was given to me before it gets cold.

I place the tray on the bed and grabbed the salt shaker before I sat down. Even though I ate my dinner just last night I still felt like I haven't eaten in ages.

I was eating like I was savoring every single bite because to be honest, who knows when I will eat again once I get off this ship.

While I was eating, the ship started to rock, almost like there is a stotm coming. The impact was so strong that the tray almost slipped off of the edge of the bed, luckily I was able to catch the tray before it did.

I held onto the tray until the ship had stopped rocking, there was no way I was going to let the food go to waste.

After the waves had calmed down I placed the tray back on the stand. I walk over to the window and noticed that the weather looked nothing compared to when I woke up a few hours ago.

Would escaping be the best decision at the moment? Should I wait a little bit longer? But if I do then I would eventually be married to that pervert, maybe worse.

Since the waves have calmed down for the time being, I walked over to go and finish my breakfast.

Once I was done I started searching all over the room. I searched every corner and every dresser, though I know searching through someone's belongings isn't the nicest thing to do I didn't really have much of a choice.

I had spent a good amount of time trying to look for something sharp but no luck. I started to feel sad after I checked the last drawer to just find nothing. I sat on the edge of the bed and just stared at the ground.

Is this really what my life will become? Am I really going to end up getting married against my will? Will I never see my family again? They must be so worried about me, it had been over a week since I last saw them, I hope they're okay.
