Another update! Last one for today, hope you enjoy!
I woke up to a slight breeze coming from my window that I left ajar last night. It was cloudy today, but I literally did not care, because it was still the most beautiful place on earth. Stepping onto my balcony with my breakfast, I took a minute to reread Erik's text to me from last night.
Erik: Sorry for being a jerk, I'll explain when the time's right.
What did he mean? His vagueness scared me a little bit, but if something was seriously wrong he would tell me. There is no way he did not feel the same connection I felt when our hands scraped past each other, maybe that's what freaked him out. But why did he have to explain that?
Brushing these thoughts aside, I began to get ready for the day. The Four Seasons had booked me a massage for this morning, and since my shoulder has been really bad recently I was more than grateful for it.

After my blissful massage, I made my way down to the pool as everyone else was already there. My mom and dad were asleep on the sofas inside the cabana; Rachel, Kory and Erik were in the pool; and Angela and Josh had gone down to the beach. Rachel turned to me when she saw me walk towards her.
"Hey girl how was that?" She asks. I let out a huge sigh, showing her that it was the most relaxing thing ever. I was just about to sit in the sun when my phone buzzed.
Angela: Come down to the beach! We've saved you a space xx
I somehow dragged everyone to the beach with me after Angela had text. It had turned quite cold, , but we were still embracing being in Hawaii. I stood in the ocean, the cold yet gentle waves crashing to just below my knees. Erik and Kory were messing around in the water just in front of me, both of them not seeming to care that the water was so cold and harsh. Looking at Erik, I felt it. I felt the butterflies again, flying around in my stomach like a crazed bird in a locked cage. I felt my face light up like a child's on Christmas morning. I felt my heart start to beat a little faster. He was only being silly and goofing around in the water, yet it made me want to go over to him and embrace every single part of him.
It was at that moment, I knew.
I knew I liked him, and that scared me.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Despite the clouds in the sky, we decided to go and watch the sunset. Originally, it was meant to be me, Erik, Josh and Angela, but Josh and Angela had fallen asleep. Not wanting to miss another sunset, I text Erik.
Colleen: J&A are asleep, but I don't want to miss the sunset! Just us it looks like.
Not even a minute after I pressed send, he replied.
Erik: Cool. Just at the bar, I'll meet you there in 10
I walked down to the beach alone, for some reason, nervous. It was Erik, and despite my new found feelings for him, he was still the same guy. The same guy that nervously auditioned for me two years ago for the role of Patrick on haters, and as soon as I saw him I knew we had to cast him. He brought a character that had been inside my head for ten years to life. His eyes spoke a thousand words, and not just when he was acting. I was so lost in my daydream that I didn't notice him stood next to me.
"You okay?" He asked me curiously, noticing my dazed state.
"Yeah, sorry, I was just..." I didn't know how to end that sentence. He just nodded in response, like he understood. And that was the thing, he always understood. He understood my visions for Patrick in the show, he understood my pain going through my divorce last year and he just seemed to understand me. Me as a person. Me as a friend. I did not want to ruin that by telling him how I feel when he probably doesn't feel the same back.
