• • • Jungkook hoped that the rumours of you dating someone else were a lie. He didn't want to believe that you moved on, when the image of you was the last thing on his mind at night. Unlike you, he couldn't let go of the past relationship you two shared. It could be possibly because his heart was still yours.
However, his hope for your forgiveness was crushed when he saw you hand in hand with another man, looking happier than he ever saw you before. It hurt his heart. He imagined that it was his place to be next to you, to hold your delicate hand in his.
Looking straight at the pair of you, sadness and sorrow filled his heart and eyes. Jungkook's head fell, as his eyes landed on his shoes.
The rumours were true.
You had moved on.
Now he was left in a state of disappointment and despair, as he saw that you did in fact move on from him. To him that meant you gave up on him, which was sadly the case for this situation.
Jungkook was not able to understand how you were able to forget all of the memories and good times you two have shared together. All gone.
All gone because of him.
Because of his mistakes.
The only thing left for him was the torture of watching you be happy with someone that wasn't him and that broke his heart.
