-Day 3 Part 4-

"What happened back there?" Stanley asked the moment my parents went out of the room.

I turned away and didn't reply him.

He grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Cheesecake. Please. Why did you want to break up with me?"

"I don't even like attention! Ever since the news of you and me dating spread, I've had people pointing at me and whispering amongst themselves."

He put a hand on my shoulder and calmed me down. "Chels, tell me. Who beat you up?"

"Someone who had a crush on you for the longest time," I mumbled.

After thinking for a while, Stanley asked," It's Mandy and her sidekicks, right?"

I didn't answer. Stanley stroked my hair lightly and said," I'll leave you alone first okay? You need to calm down and all."

Without another word, he stood up to leave.

"Wait, Stan."

He turned around and looked at me. I got up from the bed and hugged Stanley tightly.

"You know I don't mean it. I want to be with you."

He smiled and hugged me tightly, too. "Go on, have a rest. I'll drop by again tomorrow and I don't want to see you in school."

I nodded and he walked out of my room, leaving his scent behind.

I slept soundly and woke up at noon. The first two things I saw when I woke up were Carrie and Stanley's faces.

"Hey! How ya feelin eh?" Carrie greeted.

I rubbed my sore eyes and nodded, indicating that I was alright.

"Do you know why we're here?" Stanley asked.

"You said you'd come by yesterday."

"Ooh, looks like someone's in love, eh?" Carrie smirked, making Stanley and I roll our eyes.

"Uh, no. Not quite. We just want to teach you the stuff that the teachers taught today."

Carrie took out her biology notebook and started to do some lecturing.

I've a feeling this day is gonna be really long.
