For years the Greek gods have battled, created, destroyed, and been infatuated with humans. Naturally if the gods lie what they saw, they'd get what they wanted. Which usually ended in a long sensual night in the arms of a deity.

And so a child would be born of a mortal, and a god. It has happened for centuries, in myths such as Hercules son of Zeus and Alcmene. Achilles son of Thetis and Peleus. Harmonia, daughter of Zeus and Electra. Helen of Troy, daughter of Zeus and Leda. Orpheus, son of Apollo and Calliope.

There where many who came and went with time, and made a name for themselves in Greek Mythology. But were they really myths?

The stories where all real. At their time, those demigods were looked to as heroes and renowned by their parentage as warriors. But It seemed as the years went on, and more demigods were born, that they got stronger and stronger.

This made Zeus realize that his own children may overtake him one day. As he and his siblings had done to their own father, Kronus. So he devised a plan to pit the demigods against each other in battles to the death. Of course at first the other gods detested the idea of making their beloved children fight, but when Zeus explained that it would be a fight to determine the best children of the gods, they were all to happy to force their kids to compete.

And so began the demigod games that struck fear into the hearts of half lings around the world.
