Chapter Nineteen

"Winner" Summer laughs again

"You fucking-" I growl

"Oh the freakazoid's got a pair of balls now?" she cuts me off

"Why are you doing this?"

"Simple you have what's mine and now I'm getting rid of you to get it back" she growls

"what's yours?" I whisper to myself then it dawns on me "Ace!"

"Ding Ding you really are that smart who knew?"

I jump forward following my nose to her and I'm instantly slammed back against the van wall. I feel my cannines extend and I snap at her.

"You've gotten fiesty freak but I'm still stronger remember that little runt"

I growl and feel everything shake I feel the van swurve as I hear what sounds like hail hitting the top of the van and windshield.

"You better quit or We'll kill everyone you love! and I don't give a shit if it's Ace!" she yells

I gasp and everything quiets I can hear Summer let out a breath of relief "We?" I breathe

I can sense her nasty smile "We. As in your father Alpha Hanes and I and his pack. How do you think I knew to keep the blindfold on you?"

I feel a growl and some of my bones breaking I'm so close to shifting I can taste it I just want one bite out of Summer maybe more. I'm so tired of her bullshit and her thinking that I'm a weakling. I'm only weak in the pack's eye's because I can not share what I am with them. If they knew what I was capable of no one would treat me as the weak one. I want to see and smell that fear out of Summer for all of the horrible things she's done to me but I know that I could never hurt someone no matter what they did to me that's just not who I am. No matter how much I'd love to do it I never could. I'm instantly shocked in the side and I yelp as I curl up in the corner.

I hear her laugh "I'd watch trying to shift bitch I have weapons to keep you in line. This is going to be a wonderful time in hell for you." she shocks me one more time and I cry out holding onto my side

ACES POV

"What the fuck are you still doing alive I thought you were dead!" I growl at Alpha Hanes as he taunts me on the other side of the border that splits mine and his territory

he smiles wickedly at me "I'm sorry to disappoint you pup but you know what I came here for"

I shudder and feel my bones cracking as my wolf threatens to come to surface. Like I said over three months ago it'll be over my dead body before he gets my mate. I feel my canines extend and my claws grow as a low growl rumbles from deep inside of me. I watch Alpha Hanes walk back and forth on his side of his territory. I get into a shifting stance causing him to smile even more and he wiggles a finger side to side telling me no.

"ah uh pup" he points up to the trees and I follow to where he's pointing and see that he has snipers all over pointing guns down towards us shit I keep my doubt at beating him inside of me not allowing him to see the moment of weakness I'm having

I let out a loud alpha growl "you think I'm scared of snipers? I'm faster than the bullets"

"I highly doubt that pup. You have a ego on you your confidence and cockiness would work well in my army too bad you've mated with that mutt."

I take a step forward growling and hear the gun click and I look up at the sniper who's pointing it at me following the red line to the red dot on my chest where my heart is. Heidi, Jax and Thomas growl at my side.
