Journey 23: Second

╰Blisse's POV╮

After digging the ground and getting the pot of gold that was located at one end of the rainbow somewhere in Ireland, we headed back to Farigos. Who would have thought that searching the end of the rainbow was easy for the cresceres? The story of leprechauns and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow was just a legend. But as Evan said, we ourselves, are already legendary.

Riamie pointed at Philip and Samael, "Umuwi na kayo."

Beside me was Ria in the driver's seat.

Philippine time. So, nakarating kami sa Ireland nang 1:30 a.m. Irish standard time. Imagine how many hours we waited for the sun to rise in Ireland. We're glad that the sun arose at exactly 5:00 a.m. Then, we finally found the pot of gold at 7:30 a.m., which was equivalent to 2:30 p.m. in the Philippines! Hindi pa kami nakakapag-lunch niyan.

While walking, I opened my backpack to get some food for us.

How am I going to eat that? May bitbit kaming mabigat dito, oh."

Natigilan naman ako. Oo nga naman. I put back the biscuit inside my bag and walked beside Ria.

"Shut the hell up."

"Just walk, Philip."

"I'm hungry, Riababes."

The trees here are nicotine-brown. Their bark was blotched and splotched, as if bubbled soup had been frozen in time on its surface.

I felt that the gloomy scrubs hid dangerous creatures. The putrefying air and smothering atmosphere provided the perfect abode for those who worshipped the darkness rather than the light. Hmm. Perfect place for Samael.

At last, we finally reached the leprechaun's home, saka rin naman nawala ang ulan. After a few seconds, the door opened.

I gulped but then smiled at him, "Sir, we finally found your gold."

We heard Philip gasped, "Taga-Terran po ba kayo?"

Just like before, the leprechaun raised one of his brows, "Isang ginto sa bawat katanungan.
