Meta With a Bat

Prologue

Stiles POV  

tears stream down my face as I passed the ' Now Leaving Beacon Hills ' sign , leaving a place that now is home to both my dead parents, the place of so many bad memories and so much pain, a place that will no longer be my home. 

I always thought I'd remain in Beacon Hills all my life, growing old with my husband, but when I made that plan It included my father , friends, and a guy. Here I am trying to find a home whether its a person or a place, my home used to be my father and my pack - ex pack I mean, but now that's gone and its my fault. 

My father was killed by the Nogitsune while he possessed me , he made sure I remembered how it felt to stab my father, to have his blood on my hands, to hold his body while he took his last breath. to scream for him to come back, to watch the life disappear from his eyes, I remember it all and all I could do was take the pain. 

The day my father died is the day the Nogitsune was trapped it also the day the pack kicked me out , at the time they didn't know about his death, no one did. I don't think they would care if they knew, understandably of course, I had just killed Allison and Ethan, I hate me. 

When they told me they were kicking me out I wasn't surprised, hurt, scared, or happy . Its like all my emotions were gone, like...... like the Nogitsune was still with me, I just left without another word, walked to my jeep and drove away. I hadn't decided on a destination until hours later , I could say that one place was calling to me but that's a lie, in reality I just looked up big cities in the United States, and decided on the one that's remotely interesting because of the particle accelerator going off soon and the forensic science department there. and that's how I decided. 

I was only an half an hour from Central City when my car started to splutter loudly, I thought maybe it could make but I was wrong when 5 minutes later it broke down. I checked my phone to see if ill get a signal , which I couldnt , and there was no one around  so I decided to walk. 

I walked for about an hour before nearing the city, my feet hurt and im thirsty, I see a coffee shop in the distance and hope that they have a tv inside to see if I can catch the particle accelerator , but just as I start to walk I a beam of light begins to shoot up to the sky and I realize that's star labs. I stare in amazement  but that only lasted for a few minutes before a explosion went off. I watched as a dome-like blast of energy passes through the air , and before I know it, it hits me . 

I fall back on the ground and feel something course through my ,something that feel like power, before I black out I feel something familiar, the darkness begins to consume me , just as I begin to sleep, I pinpoint the feeling its the Nogitsune.
