Tidal Waves

She was waiting by the train station, the hybrid wagon was approaching the station when she received a phone call from her momager, Vania.

"Ly you need to go here sa Ateneo. Sabi ko naman kasi sayo suma--" she cutted off her handler.

"Wala namang nandudumog na fans, I waited for the hybrid train. What's with the rush? Mamaya pa training ha?" she questioned.

"May major problem. Pumunta ka na dito as soon as possible okay? Mag-iingat ka Alyssa" Vania motherly said before ending the call.

It was not a rush hour, the train was bigger and longer than the usual which means that Alyssa Valdez can be her usual self.

She felt the urgency in her handler's tone, she silently prayed for it not to be as bad as possible. And she also felt her heart exploding in nervousness for a reason she is not informed about.

She dropped off the Katipunan station when her notifications exploded, her notifications are always on the edge of breaking but this time, it got her heart racing.

She was about to check it when another call from Vania registered, "Nasa Katipunan station na po ako, diretso na po ako dyan?" she asked.

"Athletics office, bilisan mo na Ly" Vania clarified.

She hurriedly hailed a cab, "Ateneo Athletics office po, open ko nalang po yung window para po makapasok tayo" Alyssa politely said.

"Alyssa Valdez?" the driver asked while driving and she smiled a bit. "Ay hello po, Alyssa Valdez po" shyly the Batanguena native responded.

"Nako fan na fan mo yung anak ko, pwede bang papirma naman nitong papel nalang dito. Pasensya ka na ha fan mo talaga ang anak ko eh" the driver requested.

She gladly obliged before opening the window by the guard house, "Kuya athletics office lang po" she politely said before smiling.

"Ay kayo po pala yan ma'am Alyssa! Sige po" the guard commanded, "Eto talagang si kuya, Alyssa nalang po" she timidly responded.

She closed her window, "Ma'am pwede po bang papirma din po nitong sumbrero ko po, bibigay ko lang po sa Anak ko" the driver requested again while Alyssa just finished giving him instructions.

She gave the driver a generous tip and gave him back the unsigned cap, "Tay, sa inyo po itong sumbrero. Para po sa anak niyo, ito nalang po" she said before grabbing the marker to sign her own cap.

"Salamat po sa kabaitan niyo po tay, ingat po kayo sa pagmamaneho" she said smiling before going down the cab, she left her signed Ateneo cap on the front seat.

The driver took a while at the area where the phenom landed, he was starstrucked with a scene of Alyssa's greatness.

"So ano po kailangan nating pag-usapan?" the phenom herself, wondered.

"Let's wait for them okay?" Vania said smiling at her talent, "Them?" Alyssa can't help but wonder.

"Oh ayan na pala sila" Vania said looking pass the phenom and welcoming the Ravenas to the office.

The personnel left the room to provide for some privacy, "Ma, ano po meron?" Alyssa hugged Mozzy.

She paid respect to Bong then hugged Dani and Thirdy. "Pasama pala ako mamaya Thirds, training nila Bei" she chuckled lightly.

"Sure ate, pupunta din naman ako dun" Thirdy winked, he learned to tease her ate Alyssa as well.

They settled for the round table, the Ravenas, Alyssa, Vania and Coach Chot filled the area.

"Coach Chot here would explain the details of this emergency meeting. He requested for me to gather all of here, coach kayo na po" Vania politely said before all the attention of the table fell on the head coach.
