You hurry over to the elevator whose doors about to close when a man's hand floes in between them and the doors open again.
"Thank you." You say as the doors close behind you.
"You're welcome the man smiles. You'd glanced at him while entering the elevator but now you find yourself staring at him. He's tall, wears a blue suit, vest and tie with blondish locks and the start if a stubble. You catch your breath when his eyes meet yours.
"You're Tom right? Tom Hiddleston?" You ask shocked.
"Yes," he smiles holding out his hand or you to shake, "And who might you be?"
"I'm Y/N" you smile as you shake his hand, it's softer than you thought it would be. Larger too.
"I work on the third floor," you add unnecessarily.
"Really?" He asks surprised, "I have a cousin who works there."
You smile and are about to ask who she is when you hear a screeching sound and the compartment comes to a halt.
"What was that?" You ask nervously.
"I don't know." Tom says looking up at the ceiling.
"To all staff and customers. We have just encountered a problem with our elevators and have sent teams to fix them however for your safety, we urge you to refrain from using the elevators and take the stairs. Thank you for your co-operation." The voice over the speakers announces. You swallow hard and let your bag fall to the floor.
"Are you alright?" Tom asks walking over to you now slumped against the wall.
"Yes. I mean, no. I mean, ugh I just I had this fear of getting stuck in an elevator and now it's come true." You tell him panicky.
"Hey, it's alright." Tom reassures you as he crouches beside you and puts a hand on your shoulder.
"At least you're not alone." He says. You look up at him and smile weakly, "Yeah." You agree.
"Let's take your mind off this situation shall we?" He smiles sits beside you offering you his hand, which you take.
"Tell me about yourself." He starts.
"Um alright." You shrug before telling him about your work and where you went to school and how he's your favourite actor. In turn he tells you what it was like being a celebrity and for a time, when you went panicky again, he impersonated Loki just to make you smile. It was a shame when the elevator started moving again. You exited on the same floor and when you went to say goodbye, he handed you a note.
"Next time you get stuck in a lift, call me." He smiles before walking away. You grin after him and read the note; a phone number, his signature and "I hope we meet again."
