Blaine's POV
The adrenaline surges through my veins, my anger subsided as I stare into Weaver's beautiful eyes. I have loved her for as long as I can remember and the second I saw Chad assaulting her I lost my shit.I promised the principle I wouldn't get into any fights this year but I would do anything to protect Weaver. I couldn't imagine what would've happened if Chad had cornered her somewhere less public.
The mention of Chad's name in my head makes my anger resurface at full force. What a Fucking Wanker! Guys like that do not deserve to walk the Earth.
Anyway, the cops have arrived to take Chad to holding cell. One of the girls in the popular group reported him, apparently he has an obsession with Weaver and has been trying to assault her for a while but he could never get her somewhere quiet so he decided to do it in he middle of the car park when he thought me and Arloe weren't around. Absolute fucking LOWLIFE!
Anyway... Arloe and Weaver headed to the principles office about 15 minutes ago. My name was also called but I needed to wash the blood off my knuckles and change my shirt.
Whilst washing my hands my thoughts flicked back to Weaver. I have this overwhelming feeling to protect her, comfort her and love her. But I never could. My best friend's sister is a no go situation!
But I could never, her brother would never allow it because he sees me like everyone else does. A player, a man-whore, and a dickhead. And they not wrong, I never felt the same connection I have with Weaver with any other girl. It's simple. I love her.
I finished washing and drying my hands and head to the principles office. I knock twice before entering. When I get let inside I see Grace, Matteo, Arloe and Weaver. She is sat next to her mother with her head on her mom's chest sobbing. The sight almost breaks my heart, I want to pull her close, hold her and never let go. It is obvious that Chad's assault has obviously really scared her.
"What do you mean you can't expel him? He fucking assaulted her?" Shouts Mr. De Luca.
"Sir, it is simple. We have no evidence. It is simply your daughters word against Chad's word and we can either expel them both or neither of them" responds the principle.
"This is the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard! My daughter, my 17 year old daughter is sat here in front of you, crying violently, and you sit here saying you have no evidence? What about the other students that witnessed it?!" Matteo says furiously.
"Sir, I am just following protocol. The police are involved. Until they give collect evidence and statement both students will remain enrolled"
"No, no they won't..." Says Grace. It is the first time I have heard her speak since I arrived.
"We enrolled our children at this school because it is the best in the area. We had the pick of hundreds and thousands of private and state schools across the world but we chose this school. And simply, this situation has made me regret our decision to enroll them here. Arloe, Weaver and Blaine are to be unenrolled immediately and we will finish their schooling privately. You will be hearing from our attorney and i am sure that the news stations and social media platforms across this country will be interested in what we have to say. We are finished here. Goodbye Principle, or should I say, Goodbye ASSHOLE!" Grace stands up, supporting Weaver and leads her out of the office, Arloe and I follow and Matteo is close behind us. We leave in a state of shock.
Grace, quiet, understanding and polite Grace just swore at the principle. To say I am shook is an understatement.
"Blaine, I will pay for your education until you graduate university. I am proud that you took matters into your own hands, did that wanker bleed, cry, or piss himself?" Matteo says to me.
"Oh, I made sure that he bled, his nose is going to need at least 5 rhinoplasty's before he can even look at himself in the mirror without feeling ugly!" Matteo chuckles at my response.
"Thank you my son" he says and pats me on the back before running off to catch up with Weaver and Grace.
"Hey bro, thank you for protecting Weaver, I know you were at risk of being expelled if you got into another fight." Arloe Says.
"Don't worry bro, she is like my lil sister. I'd protect her no matter the risk!"
"Thanks man, I appreciate it!" We hop in Arloe's car and drive away from school. 8am and we have finished school.
Now what do we do with the rest of the day?
