m!Pearl X Reader (SU oneshot)

Him and I

The sun was just setting on the horizon. It was so beautiful. The colors, the sky... him. Him and I were walking at the strawberry battlefield. It was a strange, a really strange, place. It looked like a big garden with strawberries and... weapons. Some even broken. I guess that's why it's called battlefield. I didn't even know there were places on Earth like this. Even if it was real, it felt so surreal.

Awhile back he asked me if I wanted to go somewhere, different. Of course I answered with yes, because I was getting sick of the same thing happening every day in my life. Pearl has been a really good friend of mine for a while now. I could say we have build a really strong friendship.

"(Y/N)" he said, gaining my attention. "Yes, Pearl?"

"Do you know how to climb?" he asked.

"I'm a little scared I could say. I fell on my butt last time! Why do you ask?"

He never answered my question. But for sure he was showing a little smile on his face, like he was smirking. He grabbed my whole body, lifting me off the ground, in bridle style and started jumping high... a little too high if I say. I grabbed his clothing, holding tight into it, a little worried if we fall. He was jumping on little spaced floating surfaces. It was getting darker with every jump he made. Finally he stopped and put me down so I can see where we were. That's when i noticed...

The moon.

It was big and bright.

It was just, magnificent.

The stars were starting to show and the sun was already gone, leaving warm colors above the horizon.

I noticed Pearl was staring at me with a smile on his face.

"So... you like it?"

I looked in his bright blue eyes, gazing at them. He was so beautiful. I noticed that he blushed a little.

"Oh! Umm, yes. I love it! How did you found this place? It's so stunning!"

He frowned a little.

What? Did I say something wrong?

"Pearl?" I caressed his arm looking in his eyes who were looking to the ground.

"Do you know what?" he asked. I stayed silent as to hear what he had to say. In the next moment his gaze turned towards me.

"You are the most exciting thing that had happened in my life after he-... After Rose disappeared. The first time I saw you, you shot me right into my heart with this smile you make. Your voice, it's the only thing I would ever want to listen to. Your eyes, are the only thing I would ever want to look at. You are perfect. Every moment I spend with you, I treasure for a long time. Every reaction you make, it keeps the flame in me burn stronger. You are the only one I want to be with from now on."

"(Y/N)...

Would you accept my confession?"

His thin, but warm hands were holding mine. I was at shock. I even teared up a little.

"(Y/N)?"

Right. He was waiting for me to give him an answer.

But... I couldn't.

The only things i did was grab his face and close the gap between his lips and mine.
