As the day flew by Iyah and Decu spent the it together. They went shopping and seen a movie. It started to rain again when Iyah and Decu decided to head home. As they did Decu couldn't stop looking around like they were being followed. When they got home Decu put all the stuff away as Iyah got stuff to go take a shower. When she got everything Decu quickly got stuff and decided to join her. It was night so most girls already took their showers so there weren't that many girls in the washroom. Iyah and Decu got undressed and went to the showers. Iyah awkwardly stared down at the floor while they showered. "Iyah......you OK", Decu said to break the silence. Iyah looked up to Decu with her face bright pink. "Ya i-im fine.....just never took a shower with a friend before," Iyah said as she slowly looked back down to the ground. Iyah turned off the water to her shower when she felt a cold drop of water go down her back. Iyah looked up at where the drop came from and got a face full of cold water. Decu was holding a bucket above her head and dumped water on her. "DECU IM GOING TO KILL YOU". Iyah said as she chased Decu around the room. Decu ran to the indoor hot spring and jumped in. Iyah stopped and noticed that they were the only two there. "You getting in or not Iyah", Decu said as she splashed Iyah with the water. Iyah jumped in splashing Decu. When she came up she was face to face with Decu. Decu still had her eye patch on so Iyah took it off. Decus eye shined bright in the low lighting. "If my eye patch comes off your arm rap comes off," Decu said as she reached for Iyahs arm. Iyah pulled back making Decu fall on her pishing her back into the wall. They were up against each other when Iyah finally said,"o-ok...I'll take off the rap but you can't freak out". Decu got off Iyah and watch as she unraveled the rap to reveal a blues star on her shoulder.
Decu stared at her arm,"cool my dad would never let me get a tattoo", she said. Iyah slapped her forehead. She looked at Decu and shook her head,"it's not a tattoo.....it's the star clan symbol." Iyah said scared to see Decus reaction. Decu took a step twords Iyah and hugged her. The lights flashed and scared them so they got out and went back to the room. When they got back they found playing cards all over Iyahs bed."ok...I remember leaving my poker cards at home", Iyah said. She went and picked up the cards and layed them on her dresser. Iyah didn't realize it but the cards were actually witches playing cards. Iyah and Decu went to bed. When Iyah woke up her arm was covered in cuts. "WHAT THE HELL", She yelled waking up Decu. Decu sat up and looked around the room,"what what's wrong", she said. Iyah quickly hides her arm so Decu couldn't see. "Nothing.....I woke up screaming from a nightmare", Iyah said the first thing that popped into her head. Decu rolled her eyes and quickly got dressed and so did Iyah but she rapped up the area on her arm that was covered with cuts.
When they got to class they were early and the only people that were there was the teachers and Miko. Iyah ran over to Miko and hugged him. Decu went and sat in her seat rolling her eyes the whole time. "Hey Iyah....hehe I missed you too", Miko said as he hugged Iyah back. He took Iyahs arm that had the cuts on it and stared at it. "Iyah ...what happened", he said. Iyah looked away and spoke quietly,"I'll show you later". With that said Miko lets go of her arm and more student came and class went on.
During lunch Iyah took Miko to the back of the school to tell him about her arm. She took off the rap to reveal deep red cuts covering her arm. Miko stared at it not saying a thing. Iyah noticed one thing, he was slightly smileing. Iyah rapped her arm up and ran to the girls bathroom. She ran water over the cuts when Decu came in. Iyah quickly hides her arm but Decu seen her hide it,"Iyah..... watcha hiding", she said as she tryed to grab Iyahs arm. When she did Iyah screamed in pain. Decus hand was over the cuts. When she let go she stared at them,"Iyah..... Are you ok ...... Have you been cutting yourself",Decu said as Iyah quickly covered her mouth trying to think of an exuse. She shoke her head no,"it's fake.... Makeup actually but it took me forever to do do I'm saving it," Iyah said as she rapped up her arm. Decu looked at her weird then shrugged left. The rest of the day went by and Iyah and Decu walked home.
While they were walking Iyah got pulled to the side by Miko. Decu looked back at them then rolled her eyes and continued to walk home."Iyah why is your arm covered in cuts", he said trying to undo her raps. Iyah slapped his hands so he would stop. She held her finger to his lips making him be quiet. Miko nods his head and pretended to zip his lips. Finally Iyah continue to walk to the dorms. When she got there in the room was her parents Ms.liz and Decu. "What's with the meeting.... Did someone die", It's said. Decu held up three playing cards that had blood covering the sides. Quickly Black star ran to his daughter and forcfully ripped off Iyahs raps over the cuts. "Dad what the hell",Iyah said as she tryed to pull her arm away. Back star grabbed it again hitting her cuts making her scream again. He held her arm to where everyone could see it. He shook his head and let's go of her arm then walks back to Tsubaki who was trying not to cry.
"Iyah.....what made you want to do this to yourself," Ms.liz said. Iyah shook her head like crazy,"no you don't understand I didn't do this I woke up with this on my arm",Iyah protested. Decu handed the cards to her mom and then looked down. Iyahs eyes started to water. Iyah over heard her mother in-between her breaths,"were did we go wrong", she would say. Iyah continued to shake her head when Decu came over and hugged her,"I'm sorry Iyah....I didn't want to believe it but after seeing the evidence.....you need to stop it," from what Decu said set tears flowing down Iyahs cheeks. Ms.liz took Iyah to Stein to check out the cuts and make sure they weren't infected. "So Iyah ....I never expected you to be the cutting type",he said as he rubbed some sort of gel over Iyahs cuts. Iyah held her breath for the stuff made her cuts sting. Stein did some test but studied the them more then he normally should,"is everything ok Dr.Stein," Iyah said trying to look at his computer screen. Stein turned it off and went back to Iyah,"don't worry I just had a smidge on the screen that cought my eye your fine no infections", Stein said as she banged Iyahs arm up. He sent her home and waiting for her was Decu with a teddy bear and a box of matches. "What's this for", Iyah said looking confused. Decu took Iyah to her bed and sat her down. She took out a match and stuck it till it lit. "This is going to help you not cut. You strike a match instead of striking your skin and then you think about what is making you do it then blow out the match," Decu said as she blew out the match. Iyahs eyes watered up again and she dropped the bear and hugged Decu. Decu hugged back and whispered into Iyahs ear,"I'm here for you ok". When Iyah finished crying her and Decu went to the wash room and Decu helped wash her hair because of the cuts and also helped clean the cuts. When they got back to their room they got laid down and stated to fall asleep. Late that night there was movment in the shadows but a strike from a match changed that.
