Fear in Britain

     "Queen Elizabeth has fallen gravely ill earlier this morning and is currently undergoing treatment at the palace. That is all we have for now on today's news repo-"
     The power in my apartment flickered as yet another rain storm rolled into London. Just in time for me to get soaked as I wait for the morning bus route to make a stop down the street from my small apartment building.
     My computer science course starts in only 20 minutes as I rush out the door with an umbrella and my mornings coffee.
     By the time I reached the college the course was already ten minutes in, I could feel an anxiety attack make way as I tried to silently make my way into the class without drawing attention. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on my side.
     Inside of the classroom a few of the Queen's guardmem were in the classroom obviously looking for someone. As I was about to take a seat in the back I tripped over a step spilling my coffee everywhere and drawing each and every eye to me.
     "Miss Miller?" A guard from behind me asked as they approached me.
     "Y-Yes?" My voice stuttered as I looked up at the guard in red. I was pulled up to my feet by another guard who made their way from the front of the room.
     "You need to come with us immediately Miss Miller." I was being pushed forward and out of the college so fast I couldn't wrap my brain around what was happening.
     I finally wrapped my head around what happened and was able to speak, "What is happening? W-Where are you taking me?"
      "I'm afraid we must not speak about these matters until you are safely at the palace Miss." I was ushered into the back of a car that soared forward and made way to the palace as I expected when royal guards took me out of the university.
     Only time can tell how things will unravel for my coffee stained self. Hopefully nothing too.... exoctic to my nature happens.
