I could honestly not care what they were going to do with me. All that matter was that Izzy and the rest were out of this. I rub my face with my palms looking to my left seeing the picture of my mom on the edge of the bed side table. I debate on grabbing it or just leaving it there. Heels click on the floor making their way towards me. "Why did you do it?" I knew it was Maryse since she always cared about me ever since she meet me. "I did it because Meliorn is family." She sat next to me placing her hand on my shoulder.
More foot steps made their way in my room. I look up having eye contact with Alec behind him was Izzy who was closing the door behind her. "We are also your family." I shake my head getting up letting her hand fall from my shoulder. "That's not the point. If I hadn't stop Alec from taking him to the brother who knows what could have happen." I look between Alec and Maryse knowing what they were going to say.
"That wasn't up to you. He had to do something what Valentines!" I roll my eyes walking pass them to my dresser. "How do you know? Did you even know that Valentines went to attack his family!" I always kept a journal with me. It had so many wonderful memories I would never want to forget and plus I would take picture of those memories. "Look Bella we're worried about you. Who knows what the clave will do to you." I pull picture out that had me and my mother together. My mom was everything to me. She was my hero.
I felt someones hands rubbing my shoulders looking at the picture on my hand. "I know you miss her. And I know I was never as good as a mother like your real one. She's proud of you where ever she is at the moment." I nod looking at my mom's beautiful smile. "You know what she used to tell me about you?" I turn to look at Maryse who had a question look on her face. "She said you were one of the most amazing-est people she had ever met. She saw loved as a sister and I could have never thought I would be able to meet you."
She smile at me giving me a bear hug the one's my own mother would give me which I loved with all my heart. A knock made me pull away and place the picture back in its place. "Sorry to interrupt but I was told you were in trouble." I laugh walking towards the door and pulling my brother into a hug. "Your such a dumb-ass." I felt a smile form on his lips on my shoulder. I pull apart getting a good look at my brother. "How are you feeling?" I ask giving him a small smile.
"I'm good but I don't matter at the moment. I was able to get Magnus to help you out with the whole trial." I look at him confuse not knowing what he was talking about. "What trial?" He bits his bottom lip going to sit next to Izzy on my bed. "That's why we came to talk to you. Lydia told the clave about it and they think you have the cup." I roll my eyes letting my head hit the wall behind me. "Honestly their just trying to find more way to turn you into the enemies." I look at Zeke thinking about away to get out of this.
"What do you mean this happened before?" I nod at Maryse debating in my head if I should call Meliorn and see how everything went with Jace and Clary. "Yeah. It was when I turn sixteen I help a warlock escape from the clave." I start to walk back in fort in my room. "Why would you do that? Now you're giving them more reasons not to trust you." I couldn't careless about the clave all that matter was if Jace and Clary were fine. I also need to know if Poly is okay. "You just want me to leave him? He was a little kid! I wasn't going to let the clave kill him for something he didn't do." I was able to meet Magnus thanks to all the downworlders that I had saved before.
