Prologue
Water. Water.
Go fetch the water.
I do say. Kings buffoons.
Can't their bite-sized little minds wrap around who their addressing?
I suppose not.
That's why I shouldn't give those dullards to much credit. They are ignorant little chimney sweepers after all.
Can't even detect a powerful enchantress when one shows up on their doorstep.Water, water I thought.
Gracelessy tossing the pail I'm much to acquainted with, down the vine entangled well I visit religiously.
It's all I'm good for. At least that's what they think.I set my lovingly cold hands on the deteriorating stone as I peered below the wells dark and twisted chamber, leading way towards a roily sort of everday jug.
Their murky water.Sigh.
Why must my days be so troublesome.
Ugh... it's because they're around.
The Benjamin's.
What a pain.
Surly, had I known I'll be forced to interact with the mutton headed kind then I very well would have kept both my parents alive.Atleast they loved me. Even if they were dimwits.
But, allowing them to continue sucking up air was no more an option I had no say in then joining this family's household to fulfill my coven's tradition.
Its been some time so I raised the pail by tugging down on its rope with much force.
I have to return soon. Still, after all this is over.
I'll be seen for exactly what I am.
A beautiful...strain
Powerful....strain
Malign...strain.... Sorceress.A crisp breeze swept across the tree tops giving rise to goosebumps now dancing on my skin.
I smiled blissfully.
Ooh I loved this feeling."Abby!"
Ahhh!
The pail struck the sides of the well as it plunged further and further into the darkness.
Ugh"Darling! Hurry round. Were're practically spitting fluff and feathers!"
I groaned at her voice. And the onslaught of noise and chatter that followed. These people were unruly.
