The sky was starry.

The grass was tall and green.

The earth was nice and soft.

Everything was perfect.

It was StarClan territory.

A dark-colored tom padded from out from some of the especially tall stalks of grass.

"All is clear!" He yelled.

At the sound of his deep, rough voice, two toms and a she cat slipped out silently from the grasses into the hollow, and approached the tom.

The dark tom leaped onto a sharp rock, and puffed out his chest in pride, despite the problem he was about to speak of.

"Now, I'm sure we all know of the problem that threatens our four original Clans today."

Hissing and wailing echoed around the hollow. "Yes! And how will we stop it?" A brown tom rasped. "Your Clan has been tainted with darkness, Crowstar. And mine?! It has the worst excuse for a leader! Ever!" He turned towards the creamy colored she cat. "Lilystar's Clan remains strong. But they have been losing warriors because of all the times they've been ambushed." Then he glared at the light gray tom. "And Creekstar's Clan? They're suffering! They might die!" Creekstar's blue eyes widened in panic.

The brown tom faced Crowstar.

"How can we stop that?"

Crowstar hesitated.

"Well, I thought about it, and I have a plan."

"What is it, Crowstar?" Lilystar asked.

"What one thing does these Clans all need?" Crowstar continued. "It's peace." He leaped down from the rock.

"Our only choice is that one cat from each Clan-the most peaceful member- must work together to stop this mess."

All cats were watching with awe.

"We must choose who we think is best for the job!" He turned to Lilystar. "It's your turn first, Lilystar. Choose the most peaceful cat from LilyClan."

Lilystar squinted her eyes. "Oh, this is too easy. Of course I choose the young medicine cat. She's kind and sweet, and hates fighting. Being a medicine cat will make her comfortable around cats from different Clans. Not only that, but she does not fear death." She beckoned her head to Creekstar.

He nodded. "From CreekClan I choose a young, feisty warrior. He isn't afraid to go into battle or any type of trouble. He's brave, and is very optimistic. Peaceful enough." He looked over at the brown tom.

He lifted his head to the sky. "I, Oakstar, choose a slightly more expirenced, yet shy, warrior. She hates fighting and deep in her heart I know she wants peace."

Crowstar lifted his head to the moon. "Now, to pick thier leader, from RavenClan." He hesitated. "I choose a young misfit warrior who deserves respect. He considers his evil clan mates enemies, which means he'll be loyal to his team. He wants to be special. And now he is. Together they'll start a different war. A war for peace."
